Lately HBO has been releasing wonderful productions, one better and more entertaining than the last one; in fact lately I become addicted to all that they broadcast, I am capable of spending hours watching their original productions, and more if they are Dramatic and intense series with deep and extremely complicated stories like Succession that is seasoned with an impressive political and social background.

Succession is an extremely well-constructed series in a brutal corporate environment where we see one of the giants of global communication stumble before external pressures and also before various internal factors that destabilize those who control one of the world's most powerful media conglomerates, a power game unleashed to bring down whoever gets in the way of story.

# Beyond the fact that the main story is the interaction of the family and their attempts to secure their future and that of the family business, the most interesting and engaging part of the series are the individual dramas that each one encounters in their lives, dramas created perfectly to always clash in some way with the main story. In this series the subplots are managed in a wonderful way to complement and branch out from the main problems originating in the central story. Basically after the head of the family and the head of the Roy's companies falls sick the life of the others begins to stagger to the point of getting totally out of control. Each of Logan Roy's children faces the reality of not having their father watching their backs.

All the rhythm of the story is created to evolve with the characters and to grow with them, at the same time that we see the story develop we see the characters bring more entertainment, drama and intensity to the plot, a plot perfectly seasoned with scenes captured in different open shots in luxurious, gloomy and exotic places, not to mention that the creators incorporated an impressive soundtrack that manages to create a constant dramatic environment that catches us and generates a great emotion.

The performance of the actor Jeremy Strong giving life to Kendall is marvelous, the gestures and the timid and fearful countenance that he manages to create and transmit to the public is impressive. Another wonderfully developed character is Roman Roy played by Kieran Culkin, creating a man who constantly hides his problems in a constant comedy, a man who makes a joke about everything but that deep down wants to be loved and accepted by his family, a family that never takes him seriously and that always leaves him aside. Finally the last of the Roy brothers, Shiv, an imposing strong woman who has made her own way, but is constantly forced to intervene in the affairs of the company to please her father, a father with whom despite having regular discussions is identified and who loves above all in his life.

The settings, the photography, the deep and wide shots, but above all the music take possession of our senses enveloping us in a really good plot.

One of the best series currently on the air and that undoubtedly aims to become a classic of television.
