Before beginning with my review I have to say that generally I am very open to all kinds of movies and beyond that they are or not masterpieces I always enjoy something that offers me a good dose of entertainment, however with this film I happen something very little recurrent and is that although I still like the original franchise (despite the tedious and monotonous plots), with this has been marked without doubt a very negative point.

But let's also start with this review that I did very objectively.

Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw.

Fast & Furious Presents Hobbs & Shaw it is a spin-off of The Fast and the Furious franchise centered around the titular Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), characters introduced in the main series. The film follows the unlikely allies, who are forced to team up against a terrorist organization threatening the world with a deadly virus. As we advance we will realize that the plot, in general, makes no sense and everything is worth as long as you hit or explode something in this hyper-vitaminized spin-off composed of a jumble of different action sagas. In the first place we have enough of Mission Impossible, but to the beast and without a pinch of stealth or plans minimally elaborated. There's also some James Bond, although the style and class of this franchise are barely present.

They've even borrowed a couple of ideas from Marvel. In the end, what's left of genuine is the charismatic personality of its two protagonists, who take their usual roles to the extreme, continually laughing at themselves, to achieve in this way, with high doses of predictability and blushing amazement, to make us have a sporadically entertaining time.

In general, the film seems to be a little mediocre even for some of its own cinematic archetype. Would you see it again? Would you pay to see it? Absolutely not!
