Saludos amigos de #cinetv hoy quisiera comentarles con respecto a una serie que ha causado polémicas pero a mi criterio es una que deben ver todos los amantes del baloncesto y hablo de la serie de HBO: Lakers: Tiempo para ganar!
Esta serie en su primera temporada de 10 capítulos con una duración de 1 hora aproximadamente cada uno, realiza una dramatización de los eventos sucedidos a finales de los años 70 en la franquicia de la NBA Los Angeles Lakers cuando son adquiridos por el Dr Jerry Buss, eligen en el draft al fantastico jugador Magic Johson y para comenzar los éxitos que convierten al equipo en una dinastía en la década de los 80.
Reparto
La serie cuenta con un gran reparto en el cual se destaca la actuación de John C Reilly (conocido por sus roles en películas como: El aviador/Talladega Nights:the ballad of Ricky Bobby), Sally Fields (Forrest Gump/The amazing Spiderman/ Lincon), Adrien Brody (Recordado por su impresionante actuación en El Pianista) Jaso Clarke (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes/ Terminator Genesys)y Jason Segel (How I meet your Mother) entre otros quienes se encargan de darle vida a la historia, disponible en la plataforma de streaming HBO MAX!

Una serie criticada
La serie no hace gala de los elementos más sensacionalistas de la época basando mucha de su trama en los problemas y particularidades de aquellos personajes de las gesta, cosa que a uno como expectador lo mantiene entretenido aunque teniendo mucha crítica negativa por parte del mundo deportivo por exponer una caricatura de algunos personajes como es el caso del Gran exjugador y directivo Jerry West.
Si bien se conoce que West mantuvo algunos problemas con su temperamento, la serie lo muestra como un hombre atormentado, enfocandose tanto en ello que la interpretación realizada por Jason Clarke parece una caricatura de esta persona, es simplemente poco creible que en el ambiente corporativo de la época se mantenga a un hombre con semejante comportamiento y más conociendo todos los éxitos del personaje siendo uno delos directivos más exitosos del baloncesto en su historia aparte de un excelente jugador, en lo particular como seguidor delbaloncesto esa es la parte que me impide disfrutar totalmente de la serie, esta bien que muestren el lado humano y si,en esa época hubo mucha tela que cortar tras bastidores que es el gancho de la serie pero de alguna forma en este caso particular se siente forzado. Pat Riley tampoco sale tan bien parado aunque con una mejor interpretación de Adrien Brody, a quien en lo personal considero un mejor actor que Clarke.
Al Respecto West ha exijido una carta de disculpas por parte de los productores de la serie, la cual fué soportada por Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Cooper, y Jamaal Wilkes entre los jugadores de la época y personal administrativo como Claire Rothman, Charlene Kenney, Bob Steiner, and Mitch Kupchak quienes niegan que el comportamiento del directivo haya sido remotamente parecido a lo que se observa en la serie.fuente
El gran salvador de la serie es John C Reilly cuya interpretación de Jerry Buss lleva el hilo conductor de la serie, el actor muestra un grán carisma interpretando a un millonario, hombre divorciado tratando de involucrarse e innovar en el mundo deportivo como el novato, ante una liga en decadencia en la cual el innova desde el punto de vista empresarial, paralelamente a la innovación del estilo de juego presentado por Magic Johnson y sus compañeros en la cancha, este ultimo intepretado de muy buena forma por el actor Quincy Isaiah.
Muy Disfrutable
Dejando los problemas de interpretación de personajes aparte, la serie es muy dinamica en su trama, a pesar que uno conoce la historia deportiva del equipo, sorprende y se hace entretenida aún para personas que no sean seguidoras del deporte, la serie es muy buena pero aclarando que es una ficción en la cual se agregan y omiten elementos con tal de captar la atención del espectador, y la mía la tuvo, por lo cual debo de admitir que si estoy esperando la segunda temporada de una serie aunque no tan apegada a la realidad es una gran dramatización en un contexto de baloncesto real.

A series that has been criticized
