Clifford, una serie animada de hace unos años que fue la infancia de muchos; incluyéndome en ese grupo, llega a esta nueva era con una película live action, a finales del año pasado no hace mucho nos presentan una nueva vista a la vida de este perro rojo y su querida Emily. No tenia tantas ganas de verme una película como esta pero solo por ser rebelde ante mis gustos decidí darle una oportunidad y verla con mis hermanos.

Por alguna razón, desde el comienzo cuando se empiezan a mostrar los nombres de las productoras, me invadió el sentimiento de nostalgia cuando llegaba a ver películas de pequeño, esperando con ansias que iba a ver ahora de nuevo porque los trailers de las películas no se conseguían tan fácil en Internet y tampoco tenia Internet de pequeño, lo que convertía el momento en algo totalmente nuevo, sin saber de que iba la película o como seria.

Clifford tiene la formula completa de una película para toda la familia, la música en los momentos mágicos, en los momentos problemáticos, las bromas tontas y muy notables, un bajón en la trama que te hace preocupar para que el final cierre con un final feliz donde gano el amor y la amistad. Aunque puedo decir que es algo que se ha visto demasiado, que ya hay demasiadas películas familiares con esa formula, es el sentimiento de nostalgia lo que no me permite decir que es repetitiva o aburrida.

No fui un gran fan de Clifford, solo lo miraba en ocasiones cuando era pequeño, el sentimiento de nostalgia viene por toda la película en si, se siente como esas películas que miraba de niño una y otra vez porque me encantaban, como un Alvin y las Ardillas, un Happy Feet, aquella película de una cebra que quería ser un caballo de carreras que olvide su nombre.

Clifford, el gran perro rojo es una película familiar, claramente, no es solo para que los niños se entretengan, es para que los padres también lo hagan mientras la ven, es simple y divertida, haciéndola accesible para todas las personas de entender y entretener. Sin lugar a dudas, una película que recomiendo para hacer tu corazón sentir empatía y calidez.

I wasn't a big fan of Clifford, I just watched it occasionally when I was little, the feeling of nostalgia comes through the whole movie itself, it feels like those movies I watched over and over again as a kid because I loved them, like an Alvin and the Squirrels, a Happy Feet, that movie about a zebra who wanted to be a racehorse who I forgot its name.

Clifford the Big Red Dog is a family movie, clearly, it's not just for children to be entertained, it's for parents to do as well while watching it, it's simple and fun, making it accessible for all people to understand and entertain . Without a doubt, a film that I recommend to make your heart feel empathy and warmth.
