A title and a cover that attracts attention is a simple formula for people to dare to see something, "Don't judge a book by its cover" is what they have come to say, but the cover is the first look at it. which can tell a story, in this case, the unfavorable story of an ambitious director with many problems with the law.

They call this a comedy series, but I saw it in a serious way, there may be moments where you can laugh but how everything happens; the constant failure and the relationships between characters make it difficult for me to laugh at times. The story goes beyond a simple porn director, it is an educational series on how to deal with censorship in other parts of the world, where porn looks so simple but there is a whole world behind it and it is not just sex, alcohol and drugs as you might think.

The Naked Director is said to be a true story, of a director from Japan who changed everything in the 80s, that can give more intensity to the story since it is seen in another way, that everything that happens really happened, that it did not it is to attract attention, it was simply the sad story of the beginnings of a famous director. The series has about 8 chapters, with different lengths each, and I hope you take your time to see this Asian work on Netflix.
