Es la primera vez que hago una reseña de esta manera, dos películas en un solo post, esto es porque no llegue a hablar de la primera y para hablar de la segunda debo hablar de la primera, además es una buena forma de introducir la primera por si no la han visto. Recuerdo haber visto la primera apenas salió, hace muchos años ya, la secuela la vi hace unos días y me dieron ganas de ver la primera de nuevo, dándome la oportunidad de poder comparar las dos, pero antes de hablar de ambas, hablare individualmente de cada una primero.

La primera vez que vi esta película fue en una pagina web de hace un tiempo, la película no había sido estrenada aun en mi país pero la conseguí en algún lado, al empezar vi que tenia algunos glitch y pensé que había encontrado una versión de mala calidad o dañada, pero al pasar la película vi que era así, no había error alguno en mi computadora o en el video, era un efecto de la película.

Tanto en ese momento cuando la vi por primera vez como ahora me pregunté por que era necesario ese efecto, entorpecía mucho la película y aunque hacia un pequeño efecto de terror en el momento de las muertes no era necesario tener activado ese efecto toda la película. La forma en como es la película me pareció en ese momento increíble, todo sucede en la pantalla de la protagonista, teniendo un espacio pequeño de visión para ver que pasaba haciéndote parte de la película, llenándote de intriga, de suspenso, de miedo.

Los personajes cumplieron muy bien sus roles, cada uno estaba allí por una razón, no fueron de relleno, no estaban como soporte a algún otro personaje, la historia se volvía más oscura conforme pasaba y te hacia llenar de terror, sabias que en algún momento alguien moriría pero el saber como seria, era lo que te mantenía al tanto.

Esta entrega es diferente a la anterior, en varios aspectos, el más notable es que no hay ningún espectro, no hay algún fantasma rondando en busca de venganza, en esta parte el "enemigo" son personas, lo que le quita un poco de credibilidad a algunas escenas. Las personas entran a las casas de los demás sin hacer ruido, se quitan el rostro de las cámaras, se cambian la voz, eliminan mensajes del chat del Facebook como sin presionar alguna tecla, poco creíble, nada impactante.

Lo que siempre me dije de las series o películas donde mostraban Hackers era que ellos pueden hackear lo que sea, nada es imposible para ellos, todos buscan cometer delitos cibernéticos y pueden llegar a ser asesinos, cuando en verdad, tienes que estudiar tanto de programación y demás para hacer eso que ya en el camino hasta se te olvida que estas aprendiendo a programar un virus que hace explotar tu computadora cuando presionas una tecla.

La serie más realista que he visto sobre hackers a sido Mr Robot, e incluso allí te muestran que no es tan sencillo hackear, que no todo se logra remotamente, que debes ir a lugares, exponerte, que te pueden encontrar y no puedes borrarlo todo con un click. En esta película lo que te debería hacer sentir presión o suspenso, te hace decir "¿Y como hace eso? Que fantasía" dejando a un lado la seriedad de la cinta. Por otro lado están las muertes, nada llamativo, nada atractivo, muy simple, la primera película tenia muertes memorables que al recordarlas puedes sorprenderte todavía, aquí, nada nuevo.

Siempre han dicho que las secuelas son malas, la mayoría lo son con mucha razón, y esta entra en esa lista. La primera película la hizo un director diferente a la segunda, tal vez a eso se deba el cambio radical que tuvo, además que la segunda cuenta con cuatro finales alternos, dos mostrados en la cinta original y otros dos en la versión de DVD, llegue a leer que se tuvieron que ver la película más de una vez en el cine para ver si les tocaba la versión alternativa ¿Un truco para que las vieran más veces? ¿Para generar intriga? ¿Para crear un nuevo universo de películas de estas? Quien sabe, pero fue una desilusión muy grande.

La primera película es increíble, tiene una duración de una hora y media, y no perderás tiempo al verla, en cambio, la segunda, con una duración igual, con mejor tecnología para hacer las escenas e incluso seguir algo que ya habían hecho, termina siendo una perdida de tiempo.

Both at that time when I saw it for the first time and now I wondered why that effect was necessary, it hindered the film a lot and although it had a small effect of terror at the time of the deaths, it was not necessary to have that effect activated throughout the film. The way the film is looked to me at that moment incredible, everything happens on the protagonist's screen, having a small space of vision to see what was happening making you part of the film, filling you with intrigue, suspense, fear.

The characters fulfilled their roles very well, each one was there for a reason, they were not filler, they were not as support to some other character, the story became darker as it passed and made you fill with terror, did you know that at some point someone would die but knowing what it would be like was what kept you up to date.

This installment is different from the previous one, in several aspects, the most notable is that there is no specter, there is no ghost prowling around in search of revenge, in this part the "enemy" are people, which takes away a bit of credibility. to some scenes. People enter the houses of others without making noise, remove their faces from the cameras, change their voices, delete messages from Facebook chat as if without pressing a key, not very credible, nothing shocking.

What I always told myself about the series or movies where Hackers showed was that they can hack anything, nothing is impossible for them, they all seek to commit cyber crimes and can become murderers, when in truth, you have to study so much programming and others to do that already on the way until you forget that you are learning to program a virus that makes your computer explode when you press a key.

The most realistic series I have seen about hackers has been Mr Robot, and even there they show you that it is not so easy to hack, that not everything is achieved remotely, that you must go places, expose yourself, that they can find you and you cannot erase everything with one click. In this film, what should make you feel pressure or suspense, makes you say "And how does he do that? What a fantasy", leaving aside the seriousness of the film. On the other hand there are the deaths, nothing flashy, nothing attractive, very simple, the first movie had memorable deaths that when remembering them you can still be surprised, but here, nothing new.

They have always said that the sequels are bad, most of them are with good reason, and this one enters that list. The first film was made by a different director than the second, perhaps that is due to the radical change it had, in addition to the fact that the second has four alternate endings, two shown in the original tape and another two in the DVD version. I read that people had to see the film more than once in the cinema to see if they got the alternative version. A trick to make them see them more times? To generate intrigue? To create a new universe of these movies? Who knows, but it was a very big disappointment.

The first movie is incredible, it lasts an hour and a half, and you won't waste time watching it, on the other hand, the second, with an equal duration, with better technology to make the scenes and even follow something they had already done, ends being a waste of time.
