Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind (review)

The story begins with Joel, a pleasant man, with a normal life that feels an impulse to go to the beach instead of his work for some strange reason, that is not his behavior but that is what his heart dictates, there he meets a girl with blue hair and an orange coat, Clementine. For some reason they both feel connected, they feel they can spend a lifetime together, have an apartment, think about having a baby, last many years together without any problems.

But the truth is that it is not the first time they have seen each other, the truth is that Clementine erased Joel from her memory, Joel not supporting the pain and he did the same, but they saw each other again by the work of... Destiny?

A few years ago I had the opportunity to see this movie, I was struck by Jim Carrey making a serious and non-humorous character like the ones he usually does, but I never finished it and forgot his name completely. Not long ago Netflix added it to his repertoire and do not hesitate to see it right away.

Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind is a film that makes you feel Joel's regret, makes you ask, What will happen after all this? and then I, very meticulously ask myself, can you be more irresponsible when you erase other people's memories? It is interesting to see Jim Carrey outside his comfort zone although in the middle of the movie he makes usual gestures of him, I'm interested in how he gives himself solutions to his current problem and hides the memories, I love how he seeks not to forget.
