The trailer shows Eddie Brock, a reporter from the Daily where Peter Parker works, although in this universe we all know that Peter is still in high school so this part is irrelevant, Eddie investigates a mysterious company that apparently experience with humans with the symbiote, trying to raise their capabilities, a girl worried about what happens inside informs Eddie to enter the facilities and can show the world what happens, when he is inside you see that he is attacked by a girl, Maybe she had the symbiote and now Eddie has it.
The organization goes in search of Eddie to recover the symbiote but the symbiote seizes the body of Eddie, saving him or rather, saving himself from returning to the laboratory.
In this movie they will apparently show Venom as an Anti-Hero and not as a villain of Spiderman, this movie will serve as an introduction to this character and may have an enemy, as is Carnage, possibly created by the same organization to recover the Symbiot, but we'll have to wait for this exciting movie to find out.
