Space Jam: Una nueva era/Space Jam: A New Legacy (Reseña/Review)

LeBron James ya es el rey de la cancha, sabe todo lo que se necesita para ser un campeón, pero ahora debe entrenar para ser un buen padre, uno de sus hijos Dom, es un prodigio en la programación, queriendo dejar el baloncesto a un lado y dedicarse a eso. Mientras están en una reunión en los estudios de Warner Bros Dom y LeBron llegan a la sala de servidores, donde son raptados por Al-G Rhythm y la única forma de salir de allí es ganar un partido de... ¿Baloncesto?

LeBron James is already the king of the court, he knows everything it takes to be a champion, but now he must train to be a good father, one of his sons Dom, is a programming prodigy, wanting to leave basketball to a side and dedicate himself to that. Esta era una de las películas más esperadas, solo por la nostalgia de recordar la primera Space Jam y ver como varios personajes entran en una sola película, mostrando el Servidor-verso, el trailer llego a prometer bastante, tanto con los personajes que saldrían como la animación, así que solo quedaba quedarnos sentados a esperar que se estrenara, hasta que ya por fin la tenemos en nuestras manos.

Algo que me gustó bastante son los cambios de animación, como cambia de 2D a 3D, da para entretenerse visualmente. La película cuenta con una premisa algo parecida a la primera Space Jam, solo que con unos cambios, colocando algo de modernidad, no debería tener una historia muy compleja tampoco, sigue siendo una película animada para toda la familia.

Mientras miraba la película y estaban sucediendo esos twist en la trama, me sentí como si tuviese 10 años de nuevo, no por alguna nostalgia que me haya llegado al verla sino por el hecho de ser una película completamente para niños, algo que pudiese haber visto en mi niñez y encantarme por los colores y los personajes, no solo me entretuvo, me hipnotizo.

El único punto negativo fue que en los trailers se mostro todo lo que llamaba la atención, personajes, mundos, luego al ver película no se muestra algo nuevo, todo lo que podía llegar a atrapar en los trailers, se queda ahí. Pero aparte de eso, al terminar de ver la película me dieron ganas de ver alguna otra película de los Looney Tunes, supongo que me quedare con las ganas por un tiempo.

This was one of the most anticipated films, just for the nostalgia of remembering the first Space Jam and seeing how several characters enter a single film, showing the Server-verse, the trailer came to promise a lot, both with the characters that would come out and animation, so we only had to sit and wait for it to be released, until we finally have it in our hands.

Something that I really liked is the animation changes, as it changes from 2D to 3D, it gives you some visual entertainment. The film has a premise somewhat similar to the first Space Jam, only with a few changes, adding some modernity, it should not have a very complex story either, it is still an animated film for the whole family.

While I was watching the movie and those twists were happening in the plot, I felt like I was 10 years old again, not because of some nostalgia that I had when I saw it but because of the fact that it was a movie completely for children, something that I could have seen In my childhood and being enchanted by the colors and the characters, it not only entertained me, it hypnotized me.

The only negative point was that in the trailers everything that attracted attention was shown, characters, worlds, then when watching the movie something new is not shown, everything that could be caught in the trailers, stays there. But other than that, when I finished watching the movie I wanted to see some other Looney Tunes movie, I guess I'll stay with it for a while.
