Superman: Red son (Review)

It is the year 1946, an alien ship landed on Mother Russia, a baby with human traits inhabited it, some farmers had the blessing of being able to see it first and since they had no son or daughter, they decided to adopt it. Little Solnyshka discovered that he had incredible powers and feared he could hurt someone, but his friend Svetlana advised him to use his powers for his homeland, and that's how Superman was born, Russia's most fearsome weapon.

All Russia took care that everyone found out that they had a superman with them, that there was no weapon more fearsome than himself. In 1955 the United States was taking care of the matter behind the curtain, devising a plan to defend itself from the fearsome Russian steel man even if it took him years to do so.

Superman: In this case called Solnyshka until he enlists in the army and uses the name of Superman for life.

Svetlana: Solnyshka's only friend, she wished her friend was a symbol of Russia.

Diana: Princess of Temiscira and ambassador of the same, friend of Superman and sometimes called Wonderwoman.

Batman: A renegade who hates Superman for not saving others when everyone needed him.

Lex Luthor: Millionaire scientist hired by the government to create a weapon capable of confronting the Russian Superman.

Superman: Red Son, is a DC Comics movie about an alternate universe where the characters are located in other times, in other countries and having different origins. It could not be more than enough for me to make me want to see it, to fill me with more history of the DC universe that I personally consider, it has the best stories.

This animated movie that came out this year has the same quality as other DC movies and even its animated series, about animation I can only say that they still have their very remarkable watermark, leaving those highlights highlighted that makes it characteristic of Warner Animations.

The story initially disappointed me, because I thought it would go to the same place, but it returned to what I considered to be the main plot: An enemy Superman. Seeing how others face Superman physically and politically is interesting and makes you ask, how are they supposed to win?

The only thing I hated about the movie was Diana's character, there is not much change in her in this universe, besides it only comes to hinder the main plot, the interesting and definitive fights and everything to say a few words that were said better with actions, but that is done, someone had to ruin it and it was not going to be Batman, of course not.

But that is what I consider this movie to be, it is quite entertaining and short, so I recommend you watch it to hang out and see a Communist Superman.
