Today I want to share a review of a movie that I found on HBO MAX, I was really bored and wanted to do something else but time left me behind and when I saw the time, it was already quite late... Months ago I saw this trailer and at that time I had found it interesting, so I want to give you a brief review.
We will start with the synopsis, it says that it follows the story of a family that goes on vacation to a paradisiacal beach and deals with marital problems...
Hoy quiero compartir una reseña de una película que encontré por HBO MAX , la verdad estaba muy aburrida y con ganas de hacer algo más pero el tiempo me dejó atrás y cuando vi la hora, ya era bastante tarde ... Hace meses vi el trailer de esta película y en ese momento me había parecido interesante, así que quiero dejarle una breve reseña.
Empezaremos con la sinopsis dice que sigue la historia de una familia que se va a vacacionar a una playa paradisiaca y lidian con problemas matrimoniales

Ok, leaving aside what this synopsis tells us, now we go with a little of what I saw. It is true, the plot is about a family, the story begins fully with a family organizing a vacation but at the same time they show us the true intentions of this family's vacation, actually, of the woman, because starting the couple talks about a disease that the woman suffers, but they do not reveal any other information, so it is presumed that it is something fatal, in addition to the indication that it will be their last vacation together, not only because of the disease but also because the woman intends to leave, leave her couple.
Well, this family is made up of the couple and two children, a 6-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl, I think... Upon arriving at this beach, everything seems spectacular, as a vacation is supposed to be, the youngest son he became friends with the nephew of the manager of the place, they even sent coded messages to each other. There is a moment in the film where the manager asks the family what activities they want to do, to which the children answer different activities but this manager suggests a secret island and that catches their attention.
Ok, dejando de lado lo que nos dice esta sinopsis, vamos ahora con un poco de lo que yo vi. Es cierto, la trama es sobre una familia, la historia comienza de lleno con una familia organizando unas vacaciones pero al mismo tiempo nos muestran las verdaderas intenciones de las vacaciones de esta familia, en realidad, de la mujer, pues empezando la pareja habla de una enfermedad que padece la mujer, pero no revelan ningún otro dato, así que se presume que es algo mortal, además del indicio de que serán sus últimas vacaciones juntos, no solamente por la enfermedad sino porque también la mujer pretender irse, dejar a su pareja.
Bien, esta familia esta compuesta por la pareja y dos niños, un niño de 6 años y una niña de 11 años creo... Al llegar a esta playa, todo parece espectacular, como se suponen que deben ser una vacaciones, el hijo pequeño se hizo amigo del sobrino del gerente del lugar, incluso se mandaban mensajes codificados. Hay un momento de la película donde el gerente les pregunta a la familia que actividades desean realizar, a lo cual los niños responden diferentes actividades pero este gerente les sugiere un isla secreta y eso les llama la atención.
This family thought it would be a secret and only them, but it turns out that there was already another family; a couple, an old woman and a 6-year-old girl, so these two groups of families were going in a van that would transport them to this island and when they got to the island there was another man alone who supposedly was with a girl, and after a couple of minutes maybe, another couple show up who were late. At the end there were 4 groups. Everything seemed to be going very well until they found a body of a girl, who was the girl of the first man who was already on the island, she was found by the 6-year-old boy while playing.
Esta familia pensó que sería secreto y solamente ellos, pero resulta que ya había otra familia más; una pareja, una anciana y una niña de 6 años, entonces estos dos grupos de familia iban en un van que los transportaría a esta isla y al llegar a la isla ya estaba otro hombre solo que supuestamente estaba con una chica, y al cabo de un par de minutos quizás, se aparece otra pareja que llegaron tarde. Al finalizar eran 4 grupos. Todo parecía ir muy bien hasta que encontraron un cuerpo de una chica, que era la chica del primer hombre que ya estaba en la isla, fue encontrada por el niño de 6 años mientras jugaba.
After such a strong shock, everyone starts to feel a little bad. In this group of people there was a Doctor, who actually began to behave strangely, paranoidly doubting the man who was supposed to be waiting for the girl, honestly, we would all have doubted him, because it is strange that a girl who suppose she was with you, she turned up dead like that out of nowhere. As I told you, after this incident everyone started to feel strange. The old woman began to feel bad and at one point she died, everyone thought it was due to the trauma of finding a body and with the passage of time, they had already been on the island for 3 hours, everyone realized that the children had grown up. The 6-year-old boys now looked 12-year-old and the 11-year-old girl already looked like a well-built 17-year-old. They were all very crazy, they did not understand what was happening and they had not deduced what had really happened until they accidentally uncovered the first woman who had died, they discovered that there was no longer any meat, they were only bones, her body had decomposed into only hours, there everyone assimilated that the passage of time on that island was very fast, that every 30 minutes was really 1 year that passed but it only affected living cells, it did not affect dead cells such as hair, nails, etc.
After all this scene, I thought that the development would be impressive but I just started losing interest, at one point I even thought I was getting bored but I can't leave the movies half done, also with a story that seemed interesting maybe there is salvation ...
As the minutes go by, more things begin to be revealed about the groups of people who are there, since it is evident that certain behaviors are beginning to be noticed, we start with the Doctor, who at first seemed to accuse in a paranoid way, in some point of time, he begins to stop being a rational person and a rather crazy survival instinct is activated, he begins to lose his sanity... This causes the film to reveal that, of each group of people who are there; one of the members has a medical condition.
Knowing this information, which we could have assumed from almost the beginning, makes us wonder what is the real reason for this group of people to be on the island
Después de ese shock tan fuerte, todos empiezan a sentirse un poco mal. En este grupo de personas había un Doctor, que de hecho empieza a comportarse extraño, dudando de forma paranoíca en el hombre que se supone que esperaba a la chica, la verdad, todos hubieramos dudado de él, porque es extraño que una chica que se supone que estaba contigo aparezca muerta así de la nada. Como les dije, después de este incidente todos empezaron a sentirse extraños. La anciana empezó a sentirse mal y en un momento se murió, todos pensaron que fue por el trauma de encontrar un cuerpo y con el paso del tiempo, ya habían pasado 3 horas de estar en la isla, todos se percataron de que los niños habían crecido. Los niños de 6 años ahora tenían aspecto de 12 años y la niña de 11 ya parecía una adolescente bien formada de 17 años. Todos estaban muy locos, no entendían que sucedía y tampoco habían deducido que había pasado realmente sino hasta que al destapar por accidente a la primera mujer que había muerto, descubrieron que ya no había carne, sólo eran huesos, su cuerpo se había descompuesto en sólo horas, ahí todos asimilaron que el paso del tiempo en esa isla era muy rápido, que cada 30 minutos era realmente 1 año que pasaba pero solo afectaba a las celulas viva, no afectaba a las celulas muertas como el cabello, las uñas, etc.
Al pasar toda esta escena, pensé que el desarrollo seria impactante pero yo solamente fui perdiendo el interés, en un punto incluso pensé que me estaba aburriendo pero yo no puedo dejar las películas a medias, además con una historia que parecía ser interesante quizá hay salvación...
Mientras siguen pasados los minutos, se empiezan a revelar más cosas de los grupos de personas que están ahí, ya que es evidente que se empiezan a notar ciertos comportamientos, empezamos por el Doctor, el que al principio parecía acusar de forma paranoica, en algún punto del pasar del tiempo empieza a dejar de ser una persona racional y se activa un instinto de supervivencia bastante loco, empieza a perder la cordura... Esto hace que en la película se revelen que, de cada grupo de persona que están ahí; uno de los miembros posee una condición medica.
Al saber este dato, que podíamos suponer desde casi el inicio, nos hace preguntarnos cuál es el verdadero motivo de que este grupo de personas estén en la isla
Quite illogical things happen, for example, it is discovered that the first couple I mentioned, the woman has cancer and when she faints, they try to remove the tumor, which over time has become the size of an American football, the Doctor tried to make a first incision and the wound closed immediately healing, evidently due to the passage of time. Which they tried again, this time with everyone holding the wound and in a matter of seconds they removed the tumor, just like that... By itself, the movie begins to lose its logical sense when the island is affected by time but I think that this was too much...
Suceden cosas bastante ilogicas, por ejemplo, se descubre que de la primera pareja que mencioné, la mujer tiene cáncer y cuando se desmaya, intentan sacarle el tumor, que por el paso del tiempo se volvió del tamaño de una pelota de fútbol americano, el Doctor intentó hacer una primero incisión y la herida se cerró inmediatamente cicatrizando, evidentemente por el paso del tiempo. Lo cual volvieron a intentarlo, está vez con todos sujetando la herida y en cuestión de segundo removieron el tumor, solo así... De por sí, la película empieza a perder el sentido lógico cuando la isla se ve afectada por el tiempo pero creo que esto fue demasiado...

Fortunately, those who were the children of the couple, now being adults, found a way out, and they reveal the true background, what we had wondered so much about, the reason for putting these people on an island.
Eventualmente casi todo el mundo mueren por el paso del tiempo, cabe destacar que todo ocurrió en un lapso de 24 horas. Afortunadamente los que eran los hijos de la pareja, ahora siendo unos adultos encontraron una forma de salir, y nos revelan el verdadero transfondo, lo que tanto nos habíamos preguntado, la razón de poner a estas personas en una isla.
Obviously all these people were subject to experimentation, it is a laboratory where they make medicine to cure diseases, and when they discovered this island, they took the fast track, instead of spending a lifetime testing products, why not put a bunch of strange people with a medical condition and see how they react to the medicine they are given in their drinks, obviously, all this without the consent of any of these people. And let's not forget a very important fact, people who will no longer return to their previous life because they are already dead.
I really didn't like the movie, it could have been something very good because it's a great idea but it needed to develop the plot more, it lacks coherence, there are many neglected details, lack of emotions, lack of many things to make it something BOOM! because the background, in fact, is something important, it is something that we cannot take lightly, this something that has really happened in humanity. Humans who have been kidnapped, humans who really don't deserve any kind of experiment, this world is very twisted, we just don't know that because we don't see it, but it does exist. Someone believes that people can be bought or are toys, someone who thinks that their lives are worthless and that it is better to make something "useful" out of them and get money along the way, and with their false ethical discourses, they abuse the life itself, being them the true hypocrites and scum of life.
Evidentemente todas estas personas eran objeto de experimentación, es un laboratorio donde fabrican medicina para curar enfermedades, y al descubrir esta isla, tomaron la vía rápida, en lugar de pasar una vida entera probando productos, por qué no poner a un montón de gente extraña con una condición medica y ver como reaccionan a la medicina que les dan en sus bebidas, obviamente, todo este sin el consentimiento de ninguna de estas personas. Y no nos olvidemos de un dato muy importante, personas que ya no volverán a su vida anterior porque ya están muertas.
Realmente la película no me gustó, pudo haber sido algo muy bueno porque es una idea genial pero le faltó desarrollar más la trama, le falta ser coherente, hay muchos detalles descuidados, falta de emociones, falta de muchas cosas para que fuera algo BOOM! porque el trasfondo, de hecho es algo importante, es algo que no podemos tomarnos a la ligera, esto algo que de verdad ha sucedido en la humanidad. Humanos que han sido secuestrados, humanos que realmente no merecen que les realice ningún tipo de experimento, este mundo es muy retorcido, solo que eso no lo sabemos porque no lo vemos, pero sí existe. Alguien cree que las personas se pueden comprar o son juguetes, alguien que piensa que sus vidas no valen nada y que es mejor hacer algo "útil" de ellos y sacar de dinero en el camino, y con sus falsos discursos éticos, abusan de la vida misma, siendo ellos los verdaderos hipócritas y escorias de la vida.
