Welcome dear internet travelers who love mystery and thank you very much for making a temporary stop in my post, there are films that only seek to be strange through a theme that simply does not seek to have logic or an explanation, that guy is the one who best describes the feature film "Vivarium" that from the vamos makes clear its peculiar oddities that have little or no meaning. Without more to add get ready because this rare adventure is about to begin.
Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet amantes del misterio y muchas gracias por hacer una parada temporal en mi post, existen cintas que solo buscan ser extrañas mediante una temática que sencillamente no busca tener lógica o una explicación, a ese tipo es el que mejor describe al largometraje "Vivarium" que desde el vamos deja claras sus peculiares rarezas que tienen poco o nada de sentido. Sin más que agregar prepárense pues esta aventura rara está por comenzar.

Vivarium was released in 2019, directed by Lorcan Finnegan and produced by Lions Gate Entertainment, has a duration of 1 hour and 37 minutes. It is a story of suspense and mystery, it focuses on a young couple who are looking for a new house to live, that is why they decide to go to the Yonder real estate agency being attended by a rare subject which is the sales agent who will take them to see a new urbanization, however this place is strange since all the houses are exactly the same and a feeling of discomfort seizes the they will soon discover that they have good reason to feel this way.
Vivarium fue estrenada en 2019, dirigida por Lorcan Finnegan y producida por Lions Gate Entertainment, cuenta con una duración de 1 hora y 37 minutos. Es una historia de suspenso y misterio, se enfoca a una pareja joven la cual se encuentra buscando una nueva casa para vivir, es por ello que deciden acudir a la inmobiliaria Yonder siendo atendidos por un raro sujeto el cual es el agente de ventas que los llevara ver una nueva urbanización, sin embargo este lugar es extraño puesto que todas las casas son exactamente iguales y un sentimiento de incomodidad les embarga el cual pronto descubrirán que tienen buenas razones para sentirse así.

The construction of the world is extremely scarce because only a strange and quite uncomfortable scenario is posed without further deepening or exploration, there is only a very rare setting that is completely wasted and that is simply presented and left aside without giving it the focus it should.
La construcción de mundo es sumamente escasa debido a que solo se plantea un escenario extraño y bastante incómodo sin mayor profundización o exploración, solo queda una ambientación muy rara que es completamente desaprovecha y que simplemente se presenta y se deja de lado sin darle el enfoque que debería.

The plot is more untapped potential, nothing really remarkable is ever done with the elements it possesses, the narrative tries to give little data with the intention that the viewer conjectures and seeks an explanation for himself for things but this ends up being another failure; there is really no interesting mystery that has to be revealed since you never get to anything just lacks a goal at all times. Another element that plays against it is the fact of lacking a point to reach, the film does not have an end or make it clear throughout it what its mission is, it is not established what is the purpose of everything that happens in this nor do the protagonists fulfill a purpose (Although this I will return to later).
La trama es más potencial desaprovechado, nunca se hace nada realmente destacable con los elementos que posee, la narrativa trata de dar pocos datos con la intención de que el espectador conjeture y busque una explicación por sí mismo para las cosas pero esto termina siendo otro fracaso; no existe realmente un misterio interesante que haya que develar puesto que nunca se llega a nada solo carece de un objetivo en todo momento. Otro elemento que le juega en contra es el hecho de carecer de un punto al cual llegar, la cinta no posee un fin ni deja claro a lo largo de la misma cual es su cometido, no se estable cuál es la finalidad de todo lo que sucede en esta ni tampoco los protagonistas cumplen un propósito (Aunque esto lo retomaré más adelante).

The characters are another failed point in the film, at first it tries to deepen the psychology of the characters and the pressure of the confinement that they had to face presented a psychological dent, this interesting element was only taken into account the first 30 minutes and then it was left aside. All this results in pathetic protagonists who are perfect strangers who do not have the slightest characterization and are that they even have a terrible interaction between them, to such an extent that the possibility of reflecting their gradual separation as a psychological pillar that gives them depth is omitted. Finally there is the antagonist who is supposed to consider a villain but is too regrettable to denote as such, his mere existence is a nonsense and is simply the most boring being of the entire feature film by doing absolutely nothing remarkable.
Los personajes son otro punto fallido en la cinta, en un primer momento se intenta profundizar en la psicología de los personajes y la presión del encierro que debían enfrentar presentado una mella psicológica, dicho elemento tan interesante solo se tomó en cuenta los primeros 30 minutos y después se dejó de lado. Todo esto da como resultado unos protagonistas patéticos que son unos perfectos desconocidos que no tienen la más mínima caracterización y siendo que incluso tienen una pésima interacción entre ellos, a tal punto que se omite la posibilidad de reflejar su paulatina separación como un pilar psicológico que les dé profundidad. Por último está el antagonista al cual se supone que debería considerar un villano pero es demasiado lamentable para denotarlo como tal, su mera existencia es un despropósito y sencillamente es el ser más aburrido de todo el largometraje al no hacer absolutamente nada destacable.

Vivarium is an accumulation of waste of resources, lacks all kinds of emotion and is tedious to see by repeating many times the same sequence without remarkable changes that are moderately interesting. All this makes it worthy of a rating of 1 regrettable star out of 7, a nonsense of a film that is honestly too bad in general to be considered a representative of the genre.
Vivarium es una acumulación de desaprovechamiento de recursos, carece de toda clase de emoción y es tediosa de ver al repetir muchas veces la misma secuencia sin cambios destacables que sean medianamente interesante. Todo ello la hace merecedora de una calificación de 1 lamentable estrella de 7, un despropósito de película que sinceramente es demasiado mala en general como para considerarla una representante del género.
