Narrativamente es simple, lo anterior se debe a que los puzzles se enfocan en hacer sufrir a los participantes, este cambio es bastante disonante con el enfoque psicológico que utilizo su atecesora, esta sencillez se refleja también en sus giros de tuerca que son básicos y menos interesantes. La duración es acorde, a lo largo del filme las diferentes escenas de sangre y de crueldad son sus principales atractivos y mantienen la atención por el morbo.

Saw II es una secuela que decide desprenderse del matiz psicológico que tenía su precuela, para llenar ese vacío decide incluir muchas más escenas de sangre y torturas varias, todo esto la hace mucho más visual y simple a partes iguales, el resto de apartados en su mayoría son mucho más simples y menos pulidos que en su antecesora. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 3 estrellas de 7, recomendada solo si quieres ver escenas gráficas puesto que no cuenta con más nada que la haga destacar.
