Welcome dear internet travelers lovers of the ouija and thank you very much for making a temporary stop in my post, today I bring another horror movie taking advantage of the month but with a small twist and is that the tape that brings us together today is of Spanish origin and is called "The possession of Veronica" a film that meets everything that a horror movie implies. Without more to add take your board out of the ouija that we are about to contact a spirit.
Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet amantes de la ouija y muchas gracias por hacer una parada temporal en mi post, el día de hoy traigo otra película de terror aprovechando el mes pero con un pequeño giro y es que la cinta que hoy nos reúne es de procedencia española y se llama "La posesión de Verónica" un filme que cumple con todo lo que implica una película de terror. Sin más que agregar saquen su tablero de la ouija que estamos por contactar a un espíritu.

La posesión de Verónica was released in 2017, directed by Paco Plaza and produced by Apaches Entertainment, has a duration of 1 hour and 45 minutes. It is a story of terror and suspense, focuses on 1991 a 15-year-old girl named Veronica who lives with her mother and her 3 siblings, one day decides to play the ouija trying to contact her deceased father but what she does not know is that that door she opened could be crossed by another entity with very bad intentions.
La posesión de Verónica fue estrenada en 2017, dirigida por Paco Plaza y producida por Apaches Entertainment, posee una duración de 1 hora y 45 minutos. Es una historia de terror y suspenso, se enfoca en 1991 una niña de 15 años llamada Verónica que vive con su madre y sus 3 hermanos, un día decide jugar a la ouija tratando de contactar con su fallecido padre pero lo que está no sabe es que esa puerta que abrió podría ser atravesada por otro ente con muy malas intenciones.

The soundtrack is mostly remarkable to give a wonderful accompaniment for the different, once again it feels somewhat incongruous although fortunately this is not something frequent. Being then that not in its entirety but if mostly presented as a good component for the film.
La banda sonora es mayormente destacable para dar un acompañamiento maravilloso para las diferentes, una que otra vez se siente algo incongruente aunque afortunadamente esto no es algo frecuente. Siendo entonces que no en su totalidad pero si mayormente se presenta como un buen componente para el filme.

The construction of the world is well achieved since it manages to correctly represent that nineties scenario in which the film is set. In addition, on more than one occasion the stage is given good use to give it importance and relevance, either being a container of something supernatural or housing some kind of element that will be of value to the plot.
La construcción de mundo se encuentra bien lograda puesto que logra representar correctamente ese escenario noventero en el cual se encuentra ambientada la película. Además, en más de una ocasión se le da buen uso al escenario para darle importancia y relevancia, bien siendo contenedor de algo sobrenatural o albergando alguna clase de elemento que será de valor para la trama.

I can say that this film achieves its mission of handling very well what refers to suspense and terror, they are elements that are achieved very well thanks to the immersion it builds. It could be argued that the premise is relatively simple and even generic but the fact that the protagonist is a girl who is fighting against an evil entity gives it a certain air of freshness, added to the fact that it makes use of one or another plot twist that are not the most complex in the world, However, the effort is still appreciated, being that its end is predictable although in any case it tries to be surprising.
Puedo decir que esta cinta logra su cometido de manejar muy bien lo que se refiere a suspenso y terror, son elementos que son logrados muy bien gracias a la inmersión que construye. Se podría argumentar que la premisa es relativamente simple e incluso genérica pero el hecho de que la protagonista sea una niña que se encuentre luchando contra un ente maligno le da cierto aire de frescura, sumado el hecho que hace uso de uno que otro giro argumental que no son los más complejos del mundo, sin embargo igual se aprecia el esfuerzo, siendo que su final es predecible aunque de todas formas intenta ser sorpresivo.

The protagonist is the one who has more time being focused and uses that screen time to cause empathy in the viewer since she is active in the plot, being that her efforts are limited due to the age of the same which makes her feel very human and even plausible because it is agreed with the characteristics of the character. The rest of the characters are complementation for the girl since they seek to give characterization, responsibilities and in one way or another contribute something to her personality.
La protagonista es aquella que tiene más tiempo siendo enfocada y utiliza ese tiempo en pantalla para causar empatía en el espectador puesto que se muestra activa en la trama, siendo que sus esfuerzos se ven limitados debido a la edad de la misma lo que la hace sentir muy humana e incluso plausible debido a que es acordé con las características del personaje. El resto de personajes son complementación para la niña puesto que buscan darle caracterización, responsabilidades y de una u otra forma aportar algo para su personalidad.

The possession of Veronica is a film that left me impressed since I had no expectations of it having not seen any similar production from Spain, it does a good job in terms of generating good moments of tension that fit the genre that belongs. All this makes it worthy of a solid 4 stars out of 7, a very good film to see if you want to see a production about demonic possessions and paranormal things.
La posesión de Verónica es una película que me dejó impresionado puesto que no tenía ninguna expectativa de ella al no haber visto ninguna producción similar procedente de España, hace un buen trabajo en lo que respecta a generar buenos momentos de tensión que se acoplen al género que pertenece. Todo esto la hace merecedora de unas sólidas 4 estrellas de 7, un muy bien filme para ver si desean ver una producción sobre posesiones demoníacas y cosas paranormales.
