Welcome dear police internet travelers and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, the other day I do not know how or why I end up watching a police action movie called "Enforcement" that focuses on the chaos that can come when a sector of the population is tired of the delicate situation produced by racial tensions. Without more to add prepare your equipment that we are about to enter a difficult area of the city.
Bienvenidos queridos policías viajeros del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, el otro día no sé cómo ni por qué termine viendo una película de acción policial llamada “Enforcement” que enfoca el caos que se puede llegar cuando un sector de la población se encuentra cansado de la situación delicada producida por las tensiones raciales. Sin más que agregar preparen su equipamiento que estamos por entrar a una zona difícil de la ciudad.

Enforcement was released in 2020, directed by Frederik Louis Hviid and Anders Ølholm, and produced by Toolbox Film, has a duration of 1 hour and 44 minutes. It is a story of suspense and police action, everything takes place in Denmark country where multiculturalism is at its peak and that causes racial tensions, being that everything is aggravated when a young immigrant named Talib ends up in the hospital due to an excess of police force. Everything is complicated when this young man dies and the policemen Mike Andersen and Jens Høyer are in the worst part of the city, having to survive the revolt caused by the migrants who are already tired of the police and their actions.
Enforcement fue estrenada en 2020, dirigida por Frederik Louis Hviid y Anders Ølholm, y producida por Toolbox Film, cuenta con una duración de 1 hora y 44 minutos. Es una historia de suspenso y acción policial, todo se desarrolla en Dinamarca país en donde la multiculturalidad se encuentra en su auge y eso provoca que haya tensiones raciales, siendo que todo se agrava cuando un joven inmigrante llamado Talib acaba en el hospital debido a un exceso de fuerza policial. Todo se complica cuando este joven fallece y los policías Mike Andersen y Jens Høyer se encuentran en la peor parte de la ciudad, teniendo que sobrevivir a la revuelta provocada por los migrantes que ya se encuentran cansados de la policía y sus actos.

The soundtrack of the film is neither good nor bad, it is a midpoint of something that you can expect in the different moments of suspense that the film poses, nothing really remarkable neither for good nor bad things.
La banda sonora del filme no es ni buena ni mala, es un punto medio de algo que te puedas esperar en los diferentes momentos de suspenso que plantea el filme, nada realmente destacable ni por cosas buenas ni malas.

The construction of the world is not something really remarkable either, it raises a city which is on the verge of chaos due to the actions of the police, the problem is that it tries to propose a grayscale scenario in which migrants have a balance between good and bad representatives; however, carried out in practice there are many more migrants who show themselves to be hostile, criminals and so on, than those who really seem good citizens, to this is added the fact that the worst area of the city is where there is apparently a higher rate of migrants. All this makes the film fail to pose that scenario that is really neutral, and, rather, it seems that it tries to demonize the migrants of the film.
La construcción de mundo tampoco es algo realmente destacable, plantea una ciudad la cual se encuentra al borde del caos por las acciones de la policía, el problema es que trata de plantear un escenario de escala de grises en el cual los migrantes tengan un equilibrio entre buenos y malos representantes; sin embargo, llevado a la práctica son muchos más los migrantes que se muestran siendo hostiles, delincuentes y demás, que los que realmente parecen buenos ciudadanos, a esto se le suma el hecho de que la peor zona de la ciudad es donde aparentemente existe mayor índice de migrantes. Todo esto hace que el filme fracase en plantear ese escenario que realmente sea neutral, y, más bien parece que intenta demonizar a los migrantes del filme.

The plot presented with the same drawbacks as the construction of the world but on a much worse scale, again it is assumed that during this there should be a development of events in which a complex issue is raised in grayscale although this is not the case, since it seems that it tries to establish at all times that the police have just reasons to consider migrants dangerous. Outside the subject that the film deals with, the moments of action are quite scarce and the suspense is quite easy and predictable being that it does not manage to develop well any of these sections, the main attraction is supposed to be the fact that the policemen can not shoot the citizens if they do not carry weapons which results in a good argument but being that it is exploited to exhaustion ceases to have grace.
La trama presenta los mismos inconvenientes que la construcción de mundo pero a una escala mucho peor, nuevamente se supone que durante esta debería de haber un desarrollo de los acontecimientos en los que se planteen un tema complejo en escala de grises aunque este no es el caso, ya que parece que intenta establecer en todo momento que los policías tienen justas razones para considerar a los migrantes peligrosos. Fuera del tema que trata el filme los momentos de acción son bastante escasos y el suspenso es bastante fácil y predecible siendo que no logra desarrollar bien ninguno de esos apartados, el principal atractivo se supone que debería ser el hecho de que los policías no pueden dispararles a los ciudadanos si estos no portan armas lo que resulta en un buen argumento pero siendo que se explota hasta el cansancio deja de tener gracia.

There are only 2 main characters who are Andersen and Høyer a couple of policemen who apparently have different opinions about what happened with the excess of force, being that the first accepts that it was wrong for them to do it but that Høyer's duty is to support his fellow policemen above all leaving him in a difficult position by not deciding whether or not to serve as a witness. The problem with this pair is that they are supposed to incite the viewer to consider both positions of these, however the film fails in this, since for the grayscale to be well formed it had to show both good and bad migrants; there is an overwhelming predominance of those who are conflicts and dangerous in general, I do not lie to them if I tell them that there are like 7 migrants who are not virtually aggressive with the police, being that they dislike them but do not attack them making this exception confirm the rule
Solo existen 2 personajes principales que son Andersen y Høyer un par de policías que aparentemente tienen opiniones diferentes sobre lo sucedido con el exceso de fuerza, siendo que el primero acepta que estuvo mal que lo hiciesen pero que el deber de Høyer es el de apoyar a sus compañeros policías por sobre todo dejándolo en una posición difícil al no decidirse entre fungir o no como testigo. El problema con este par es que se supone que deberían incitar al espectador a que considere ambas posturas de estos, sin embargo el filme falla en esto, puesto que para que la escala de grises estuviese bien conformada debía mostrar migrantes tanto buenos como malos; existe una predominación abrumadora de los que son conflictos y peligrosos en general, no les miento si les digo que hay como 7 migrantes que no son virtualmente agresivos con los policías, siendo que presentan desagrado por estos pero no por ello los atacan haciendo que esta excepción confirme la regla.

Enforcement was intended to be a film that would take the viewer to discuss the racism and behavior of law enforcement officers towards migrants living in the country where the events take place, everything looks good in text but led to the execution ends up being very regrettable. That is why it deserves the painful rating of 1 star out of 7, the funny thing about it is that due to the development of the film Andersen is involuntarily proved right.
Enforcement pretendía ser una película que llevase al espectador a debatirse sobre el racismo y el comportamiento que tienen los agentes de la ley ante los migrantes que viven en el país en el que se desarrollan los hechos, todo se ve bien en texto pero llevado a la ejecución termina siendo muy lamentable. Por ello merece la penosa calificación de 1 estrella de 7, lo gracioso del asunto es que debido al desarrollo de la película involuntariamente se le da la razón a Andersen.
