Welcome dear internet travelers horror lovers and thank you very much for making a temporary stop in my post, as many will know I have a complicated relationship with scary cinema because I like it a lot but a lot of its representatives are a complete disgrace, that is why when I was recommended the movie of "The Conjuring" my expectations remained low having already had disappointments with what it exposes the genre currently, but, I am getting ahead of things and you always have to give a minimum vote of confidence. Without further ado, get ready to face a powerful demon because we are about to start.
Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet amantes del terror y muchas gracias por hacer una parada temporal en mi post, como ya muchos sabrán tengo una relación complicada con el cine de miedo debido a que me gusta mucho pero gran cantidad de sus representantes son una completa desgracia, es por ello que cuando me salió recomendada la película de "The Conjuring" mis expectativas se mantuvieron bajas al ya haber tenido decepciones con lo que expone el género actualmente, pero, me estoy adelantando a las cosas y siempre hay que dar un mínimo voto de confianza. Sin más que agregar prepárense para enfrentarse a un poderoso demonio pues estamos por comenzar.

The Conjuring was released in 2013, directed by James Wan and produced by New Line Cinema, and is 1 hour and 52 minutes long. It is a horror and suspense film, focusing the story to 1971 with Roger and Carolyn Perron a cute married couple and parents of 5 daughters, the family moves to a farm in Harrisvile, Rhode Island. From the first night strange things began to happen being that these were climbing from something harmless and almost imperceptible until reaching a point where they were increasingly recent could not be ignored. That is why they deserve the services of people specialized in the subject as the Warren's were since they need to solve their supernatural inconvenience as soon as possible.
The Conjuring fue estrenada 2013, dirigida por James Wan y producida por New Line Cinema, posee una duración de 1 hora y 52 minutos. Es una cinta de terror y suspenso, enfocando la historia a 1971 con Roger y Carolyn Perron un lindo matrimonio y padres de 5 hijas, la familia se muda a una granja en Harrisvile, Rhode Island. Desde la primera noche comenzaron a suceder cosas extrañas siendo que estas fueron escalando de algo inofensivo y casi imperceptible hasta llegar a un punto en que eran cada vez más recientes no podían ser ignoradas. Es por ello que ameritan los servicios de personas especializadas en el tema como lo eran los Warren’s puesto que necesitan resolver su inconveniente sobrenatural lo antes posible.

The soundtrack is quite decent, it manages to generate that dark context expected of any scary film, it does nothing that is horrible but also not something extraordinary that makes it stand out from the rest of similar films.
La banda sonora es bastante decente, logra generar ese contexto tenebroso esperado de cualquier cinta de miedo, no hace nada que sea horrible pero tampoco algo extraordinario que la haga sobresalir del resto de filmes similares.

The construction of the world is not something really remarkable since it presents the typical family that moves into a house and strange things begin to happen, the problem with this section is that it does not manage to maintain a balance with its scenarios, this is because it presents them as something totally dark and lacking any background activity to keep the viewer attentive or is extremely direct showing the extremely focused events losing all apex of subtlety. All this leaves a weak construction that more than generating an interesting context that helps to keep the viewer interested and on the edge of the seat only achieves boring, dark scenarios without anything interesting.
La construcción de mundo tampoco es algo realmente destacable puesto que presenta a la típica familia que se muda a una casa y comienzan a pasar cosas extrañas, el problema con este apartado es que no consigue sostener un equilibrio con sus escenarios, esto se debe a que los presenta como algo totalmente oscuros y carentes de cualquier actividad de fondo para mantener atento al espectador o es sumamente directa mostrando los sucesos sumamente enfocados perdiendo todo ápice de sutileza. Todo esto deja una construcción débil que más que generar un contexto interesante que ayude a mantener interesado y al borde del asiento al espectador solo logra escenarios aburridos, oscuros y sin nada interesante.

The plot is everything expected of a movie of possessions and paranormal activity, everything starts with subtle things then escalates and so on; I must honestly say that it is not really something terrifying since most of the time it is only quite bland and when the time comes for action it does not meet expectations. In general, the film has the typical generic narrative that progresses extremely slowly, is completely boring and lacks moments that feel interesting.
La trama es todo lo esperable de una película de posesiones y actividad paranormal, todo empieza con cosas sutiles después va escalando y demás; sinceramente debo decir que no es realmente algo terrorífico puesto que la mayor parte del tiempo solo es bastante soso y llegado el momento de acción esta no llena las expectativas. En general la cinta tiene la típica narrativa genérica que avanza sumamente lenta, es completamente aburrida y carece de momentos que se sientan interesantes.

I would say something about the characters but they are limited to being reactive most of the time, their importance lies more in what they can do with the problem that moves the plot more than in what they can contribute individually; thus leaving a null importance and non-existent characterization.
Diría algo con respecto a los personajes pero estos se limitan a ser reactivos en la mayoría del tiempo, su importancia radica más en lo que puedan hacer con el problema que mueve la trama más que en lo que puedan aportar individualmente; quedando así con una nula importancia y caracterización inexistente.

The Conjuring is that type of film that is supposed to be based on something real should be scary, unfortunately the terror that these people must have suffered is not transmitted to the viewer so it seems more like a documentary than a horror film. All this leads her to be worthy of 2 stars out of 7, a perfect movie to watch a night that has insomnia.
The Conjuring es ese tipo de cinta que se supone que por estar basada en algo real debería dar miedo, desgraciadamente el terror que debieron sufrir esas personas no es transmitido al espectador por lo que pareciese más un documental que una cinta de terror. Todo ello la lleva a ser merecedora de 2 estrellas de 7, una película perfecta para ver una noche que se tenga insomnio.
