The construction of the world is once again moderately interesting because the various scenarios have elements that make them interesting, this does not leave them at the same level as those in the first installment, although at least they have a little more work.
La construcción del mundo vuelve a ser medianamente interesante debido a que los diversos escenarios van teniendo elementos que los hacen interesantes, esto no los deja en el mismo nivel que tenían los de la primera entrega aunque por lo menos tienen algo más de trabajo.

The plot again has a good dose of blood and unpleasant scenes, however, throughout it interesting scenes are also introduced that explore the relationship of both characters, this is not extremely complex but at least it is an acceptable attempt to not focus exclusively in unpleasant scenes. Narratively it is designed to fill gaps, this is not narrative genius although at least it is an attempt to make the story have something more than just depraved deaths, the same happens with the twists it contains, they are not spectacular at all but they make the attempt. The duration is still accurate because the time is used well to develop the premise and give a pleasant degree of background to a certain character. In between this a good number of grotesque scenes are added so it is impossible to get bored.
La trama tiene nuevamente una buena dosis de sangre y escenas desagradables, no obstante, a lo largo de esta también se introducen escenas interesantes que exploran la relación de ambos personajes, esto no es sumamente complejo pero por lo menos es un intento aceptable por no enfocarse exclusivamente en escenas desagradables. Narrativamente está pensada para llenar vacíos, esto no es una genialidad narrativa aunque por lo menos es un intento por hacer que la historia tenga algo más que solo muertes depravadas, lo mismo sucede con los giros de tuerca que alberga, no son espectaculares en absoluto pero hacen el intento. La duración sigue siendo acertada debido a que se aprovecha de buena forma el tiempo para desarrollar la premisa y dar un grado agradable de trasfondo a cierto personaje, entre medias de esto se añade una buena cantidad de escenas grotescas por lo que es imposible aburrirse.

On the other hand, it is interesting the way in which Jigsaw's victim lasts a fairly long time on screen, this is pleasant because it serves to empathize with him and allows us to understand his situation, it does not reach the level of the characters in the first installment but at least it's a good attempt, the rest is not important at all.
Destacare solamente a Amanda debido a que me parece una representación interesante del síndrome de Estocolmo, siendo a su vez que ahondan en esta y la evidencia como un personaje con una fragilidad mental impresionante que sirve como punto de apoyo de su dependencia hacia el maníaco. Por otro lado, es interesante la forma en que la víctima de Jigsaw dura un tiempo bastante extenso en pantalla, esto es agradable debido a que sirve para ir empatizando con él y permitiendo el entendimiento de su situación, no llega al nivel de los personajes de la primera entrega pero por lo menos es un buen intento, el resto no es importante en absoluto.
Saw III is an installment of the saga that tries in a certain way to stick to something more than just the macabre deaths, it is a pleasant attempt that allows you to take a break from the unpleasant and the exploration of one of its characters is interesting, there is nothing more than add regarding this. It is for all the above that it deserves 3.5 stars out of 7, it does not reach the level that the first installment had but at least it is somewhat more decent.
Saw III es una entrega de la saga que pretende de cierta forma apegarse a algo más que solo las muertes macabras, es un intento agradable que permite darse un respiro de lo desagradable y resulta interesante la exploración de uno de sus personajes, no hay más que agregar con respecto a esto. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 3.5 estrellas de 7, no llega al nivel que tuvo la primera entrega pero por lo menos es algo más decente.
