Welcome dear murderers travelers of the internet and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, for no one is a secret the love I have for horror movies, it is a genre that I simply love and a mandatory appointment in October, which I had postponed due to other publications that were first. Leaving aside the preamble I want to start this review of one of my favorite horror films that is 'Halloween' that makes use of a serial killer to cause intrigue in a wonderful way. Without more than adding sharpen your knives that we are going to go out and look for some victims.
Bienvenidos queridos asesinos viajeros del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, para nadie es un secreto el amor que tengo por el cine de terror, es un género que sencillamente me encanta y una cita obligatoria en octubre, las cuales había pospuesto debido a otras publicaciones que se encontraban primero. Dejando de lado el preámbulo quiero iniciar esta reseña de una de mis cintas de terror favorita que es "Halloween" que hace uso de un asesino serial para causar intriga de una manera maravillosa. Sin más que agregar afilen sus cuchillos que vamos a salir a buscar algunas víctimas.

Halloween was released in 1978, directed by John Carpenter and produced by Compass International Pictures, has a duration of 1 hour and 31 minutes. It is a slasher horror film, the story focuses on a seemingly quiet town called Haddonfield, where a small boy murders his sister with a knife being imprisoned for the fact, after 15 years of that fact the prisoner was going to be transferred when he escaped. Now as a free man he decides to take advantage of Halloween night to commit some homicides.
Halloween fue estrenada en 1978, dirigida por John Carpenter y producida por Compass International Pictures, posee una duración de 1 hora y 31 minutos. Es un filme de terror slasher, la historia se centra en un pueblo aparentemente tranquilo llamado Haddonfield, en donde un pequeño niño asesino a su hermana con un cuchillo siendo encarcelado por el hecho, después de 15 años de aquel hecho el prisionero iba a ser trasladado cuando escapo. Ahora como un hombre libre decide aprovechar la noche de Halloween para cometer algunos homicidios.

The soundtrack is one of the best things that the film has, this is because it makes such good use of it that even the sound itself became something iconic in the genre, it is a musical track that manages to give goosebumps and leave the viewer to expectation.
La banda sonora es una de las mejores cosas que tiene la película, esto se debe a que hace tan buen uso de esta que incluso el propio sonido se volvió algo icónico en el género, es una pista musical que logra poner la piel de gallina y dejar a la expectativa al espectador.

Here there is not much to highlight, it focuses on the suburbs without any kind of peculiar aspect; However, the camera angles it shows are exquisite because they present mostly wide shots that show different things on the screen which invites the viewer to be attentive, this causes even more intrigue and even anxiety because it presents a character without realizing his environment or the danger that lurks him.
Aquí no hay mucho que destacar, se enfoca a los suburbios sin ninguna clase de aspecto peculiar; sin embargo los ángulos de cámara que muestra son exquisitos debido a que presentan en su mayoría tomas amplias que muestren diferentes cosas en pantalla lo que invita al espectador a estar atento, esto causa aún más intriga e incluso ansiedad debido a que presenta a un personaje sin percatarse de su entorno ni el peligro que lo acecha.

It's not really a complex plot, it features a killer who starts his massacre on a Halloween night; the death scenes are quite good taking into account the longevity of the film the effects are quite acceptable, of the rest it could be defined as something style on substance when working well the moments of intrigue, being that it has the perfect balance between waiting and surprise so that the moments are extremely excellent.
Realmente no es una trama compleja, presenta a un asesino que comienza su masacre una noche de halloween; las escenas de muerte son bastante buenas tomando en cuenta la longevidad del filme los efectos son bastante aceptables, del resto se podría definir como algo estilo sobre sustancia al trabajar bien los momentos de intriga, siendo que tiene el equilibrio perfecto entre esperar y sorpresa para que los momentos sean sumamente excelentes.

With the characters something similar happens with the plot, it does not seek to detail or deepen them, these are reduced to sacks of meat which are designed to be Michael's entertainment, this is successful since it is never sought to give them a deepening but it is expected that they suffer and die. The murderer does not have a remarkable characterization either, he is just a madman who decided to go out and kill, it is the point and the only approach that was sought to give him.
Con los personajes sucede algo similar que con la trama, no busca detallarlos ni profundizarlos, estos quedan reducidos a sacos de carne los cuales están pensados para ser el entretenimiento de Michael, esto es acertado puesto que nunca se busca darles una profundización sino que se espera que estos sufran y mueran. El asesino tampoco tiene una caracterización destacable, solo es un loco que decidió salir a matar, es el punto y el único enfoque que se buscaba darle.

Halloween is one of those types of movies in which the moment before the murder is more interesting than the murder itself, being that its charm lies in seeing how a mentally unbalanced takes the initiative to go out and kill people without any real reason of weight, it only caused him to go to end the lives of individuals, and, it is precisely what is most scary, how disturbing and plausible it can be. That is why I give it 4 stars out of 7, a film that despite everything achieves its mission of making the viewer feel uncomfortable because of the tense situations it handles.
Halloween es de ese tipo de películas en la cual es más interesante el momento antes del asesinato que el asesinato en sí, siendo que su encanto radica en ver como un desequilibrado mental toma la iniciativa de salir a matar personas sin ninguna verdadera razón de peso, solo le provocó ir a terminar con la vida de individuos, y, es precisamente lo que da más miedo, lo perturbador y plausible que puede resultar. Es por ello que le doy 4 estrellas de 7, una película que pese a todo logra su cometido de hacer sentir incómodo al espectador por las situaciones tan tensas que maneja.
