Hello friends, I hope everyone is great, today I want to tell you about a documentary that moved me from head to toe, without any lies. This is Jennifer Lopez's documentary regarding the 2020 superbowl halftime show, yes friends, the iconic show that brought together two super-talented Latinas to represent this great show.

So today I will give you my personal opinion and I will tell you a little about the documentary, hoping that everyone can see it and judge it according to their own criteria.

I want to tell you in advance that since the trailer came out, the media have been in charge of emphasizing that JLo did not want to do this show with Shakira, they were only in charge of communicating this because it is a tabloid title that sells too much and that somehow it would manage to get the old and macho phrase "The worst enemy of a woman is another woman" well yes, this title would ensure many views and comments of all kinds, because we all know that in the media what is sold is a lot of controversy and misinterpretations. But well, after saying that I want to talk to you about the documentary.

In the documentary they tell us how the people in charge of the show wanted a Latina representing this great show due to the problems that were happening in the United States due to racism and xenophobia, the message for this show was clear and precise, they wanted something that would unite the people, who will forget the hatred between races and who will remember that they lived in a nation that wanted the best for everyone. When JLo heard that, she was really excited because she felt that she could be part of the change, raise her voice for Latinos and create something that united people, but there was a small detail they would not only include a Latina and that was the surprise that baffled to JLo, the managers wanted two Latinas, so the problem was to make a presentation with Shakira? No, the problem was that they wanted two great artists creating a great show in less than 12 minutes, this being the last straw for JLo, she wanted a good show but she knew that 6 minutes was very little time, knowing that the choreographies, songs, scenery and the show that she wanted to give would perhaps take a little more time and this was where the nerves of the presentation began to appear, the problem was never working with Shakira, her problem was the pressure that it entails putting on a good show which requires time and dedication, doing it in 6 minutes would be a challenge, but she knew she could do it. JLo is an artist who is characterized by making her shows unmatched by her, she sells shows that stay in your mind, it's not just giving a concert, it's giving an experience.

In the documentary it is seen how JLo and Shakira talk about dividing the presentation time and how each one was going to be in charge of creating something that would represent them in those 6 minutes, although we also see how JLo talks with some managers asking for a little more time because if they were both going to do this show, they wouldn't do it halfway, they would do it in style.

JLo's ideas were something great, she wanted something that would make a difference, something that would create an impact and one of those things was the creation of the luminous cages that represented the cages where immigrants stay when they want to enter the country illegally, the The idea of putting girls dancing was from her daughter who showed her how talented a group of little dancers were, at that moment all the ideas were visualized more clearly, JLo wanted the world to know her message. No to discrimination, no to xenophobia, no to cages, no to mistreatment. However, those in charge of the show were not going to allow those cages to be in the presentation due to their meaning, they were not going to allow someone to show a truth in a creative way and this is where we see how JLo did not take a step back or her cages were there or she wasn't doing that show, if they asked her for something that represented the truth she wasn't going to cover the sun with a finger, she was going to give them something to remember.

Representation of Latino pride, of the pride of being born in the USA and of the mistreatment that Latinos go through when entering the country, I really saw that in a great way, because I like to see that the shows have meaning, I feel that it adds more value, no It is a simple show, it is the essence that the artist, his effort and those of his team put into it. I give her a 10/10 because she deserves it.
[LINK](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nd3wWcAmIQw)The documentary not only talks about the great halftime show, we also see all the harassment that JLo has had to suffer because of ridicule on shows for being Latina, for "Not knowing how to sing" for appearing in short outfits, really for being JLo and believe me I saw that very exhausting, imagine being an artist who has big dreams and wants to improve every day but people always treat you badly and make fun of you for your origin or for having a voluptuous body that for them is a mockery factor and friends JLo has not been the only Latin artist who has suffered from this type of harassment, let us remember that Sofía Vergara is one of the points of ridicule of many people, both for her accent and pronunciation even for her body, it is something too unacceptable.

But I don't want to deviate from the topic, so let's talk about the emotional and physical exhaustion that JLo is experiencing, it's impressive, but nevertheless she remains constant and strong giving her best to be who she wants to be, in the documentary she talks about about its beginnings, its greatest inspiration, how strong it has been to be mocked and all the hate it has received. For me she is tough, because she is someone very resilient and that is admired. Really seeing that vulnerable part that tells us that we obviously do not see on the covers or in controversial articles is something that reaches the heart.

I really loved this documentary, I tried to tell it very above so as not to give you too much spoiler in case you have the opportunity to see it, but I really feel that this production was very good and they touched on very important issues, I recommend this documentary because I hope that many can see it and like it.
