Anoche me encontraba aburrida y decidí entrar a la plataforma de netflix, donde vi un estreno bastante tentador pero el cual dude antes de ver, esto debido a que no soy muy fan de las comedias románticas, sin embargo, y debo ser sincera con ustedes, decidí verla porque en sus protagónicos estaba "Darren Barnet", así que dejé que mi pequeño crush por él influyera en la decisión de verla 😅😂. Last night I was bored and I decided to enter the netflix platform, where I saw a very tempting premiere but which I hesitate before seeing, this because I am not a fan of romantic comedies, however, and I must be honest with you, I decided to watch it because it was starring "Darren Barnet", so I let my little crush for him influence the decision to see it 😅😂. Yang como "Josh" y Darren Barnet como "Tag". En el film vemos a una chica cuya vida amorosa es un desastre, así que decide darle una oportunidad a las aplicaciones de citas, donde por supuesto le va mucho peor, pero gracias a su mala suerte en el amor, consigue trabajo para un medio donde narra sus desafortunados encuentros románticos. Cansada decide alejarse del mundo de las citas, sin embargo, su jefe le exige que continúe con su trabajo, ya que la sección que llevaba era de agrado para el público lector. Así que nuestra protagonista decide ir en busca de su objetivo, sin embargo, no todo sale como se esperaba, logra coincidir con "Josh" un hombre apuesto, inteligente y bastante decente en comparación con sus pasadas citas. Sin duda "Josh" logra ganarse la confianza y el amor de nuestra protagonista, dejándose llevar y enviándole un mensaje que cambiaría el rumbo perfecto que hasta ahora llevaba la película.

Viéndose burlada, decide ir a un bar de la cuidad, donde casualmente se consigue con el verdadero "Josh", quien en realidad es "tag", bastante confuso, ¿cierto?. Pero una desafortunada reacción alérgica la pondrá nuevamente al lado de "Josh". Luego de este contarle y justificar sus actos, "Natalie" decide acordar un trato con él, ella fingirá ser su novia hasta navidad a cambio de su ayuda para conquistar a "Tag". Bastante sencillo, no? solo que por supuesto, no lo es. A medida que se va desarrollando la película surgen conflictos que como es de esperarse, terminan en una red de mentiras que llega a su fin. Donde vemos a nuestra protagonista de manos atadas sin más opción que confesar delante de todos lo ocurrido con "Josh", y su plan para enamorar a "Tag". Dejando decepción y corazones rotos, incluyendo el de ella. Lista para regresar a casa, recuerda que aun debe hacer su reporte, así que con mucha tristeza, comienza a escribir sobre otro desastre amoroso. Sin embargo, a medida que va escribiendo, llega a la conclusión de que no tiene tan mala suerte como parece, solo estaba haciendo mal sus elecciones, así que al notarlo corre a casa de Josh, lista para recibir su merecido final feliz.

Fuente: https://images.app.goo.gl/H68hJsqS6twVzJeB8 Como pueden ver, una comedia romántica no tan diferente a las que ya estamos acostumbrados a ver, nos hablan de una chica desesperada buscando el amor en los lugares incorrectos, un chico inseguro, tímido, no muy agraciado pero con un gran corazón, y por supuesto, tenemos a nuestro chico popular, arriesgado, aventurero, muy guapo pero que no siempre es la opción correcta. Este film nos recuerda lo valioso que es ver más allá del exterior, que el amor verdadero no te cambia, cuando alguien te quiere de verdad no tendrás que fingir ni inventar una versión de ti que no existe, y que quizá alguien puede atraerte mucho físicamente pero cuando lo conoces pierde todo el encanto, y es lo que pasa entre "Natalie" y "Tag". Y creo que es algo que pasa mucho en la vida real, a veces cambiamos cosas, mentimos o fingimos ser algo que no somos para impresionar a otros, fallándole a la persona más importante, nosotros mismos. Por eso a pesar de no ser fan de esta categoría de películas, esta me gustó y la recomiendo, es divertida y muy linda, está inspirada en la época decembrina y a diferencia de las películas románticas inspiradas en la época, esta cuenta con varios giros inesperados y una trama que no la vuelven tan predecible y te mantendrá enganchado durante todo el film.

This film reminds us how valuable it is to see beyond the outside, that true love does not change you, when someone really loves you you will not have to pretend or invent a version of yourself that does not exist, and that perhaps someone can attract you a lot physically but when you meet him he loses all the charm, and that's what happens between "Natalie" and "Tag". And I think it is something that happens a lot in real life, sometimes we change things, lie or pretend to be something that we are not to impress others, failing the most important person, ourselves. That is why despite not being a fan of this category of movies, I liked this and I recommend it, it is fun and very cute, it is inspired by the Christmas season and unlike romantic movies inspired by the time, this one has several unexpected twists and a plot that doesn't make it so predictable and will keep you hooked throughout the film.
