Hello, how are you? Today has been a busy day for me, and also exhausting, so I decided to watch a movie to clear my mind a little bit from work, I started to watch a movie called Enola Holmes, it was promising, because I like the movies and series I have seen about sherlock Holmes, so I was sure I would enjoy it.
The movie tells the story of a teenager who is being raised at home by her mother, she not only took care of her and fed her, but she was in charge of teaching her, she gave her classes of different things, but also taught her everything she knew and could, preparing her in her own way for life, when suddenly out of nowhere Enola's mother disappears, leaving her alone in a world she doesn't know, for having lived hidden from her mother all her life.

Hoy ha sido un día ocupado para mi, y también agotador, por lo que decidí ver una película para despejar la mente un poco del trabajo, me puse a ver una película llamada Enola Holmes, que prometía, pues me gustan bastante las películas y series que he visto sobre sherlock Holmes, así que estaba seguro de que la disfrutaría.
La película cuenta la historia de una adolescente que está haciendo criada en casa por su mamá, ella no sólo la cuidaba y alimentaba, sino que se encargaba de enseñarla, le daba clases de diferentes cosas, pero además le enseñaba todo lo que sabía y podía, preparándolo a su forma para la vida, cuando de pronto de la nada la mamá de Enola desaparece, dejándola sola en un mundo que desconoce, por haber vivido oculta ckn su madre toda su vida.
At this time when her brothers are forced to take care of her, they make a long journey to get to the house where she had grown up, but things turn out to be more complicated than they thought, because Enola is a somewhat rebellious teenager, who only wants to get her mother, since all that about her disappearance is very suspicious.
Enola does not take long to run away, tired of all the rules that her older brother now put at home, and that finally led him to take her to a boarding school to reform, hoping to be a young lady, runs away to solve the mystery of her mother, and trying to prove the two brothers and herself what is also capable of solving some cases, while getting into all kinds of difficulties.
En este momento en que sus hermanos se ven obligados a encargarse de ella, hacen un largo viaje para llegar a la casa en la que había crecido, pero las cosas resultan ser más complicada de lo que pensaban, pues Enola es una adolescente algo rebelde, que lo único que desea es conseguir a su mamá, ya que todo eso de su desaparición le resulta muy sospechoso.
Enola no tarda en huir, cansada de todas las reglas que su hermano mayor ahora ponía en casa, y que finalmente lo llevaron a llevarla a un internado para que se reformara, esperando que fuera una señorita, huye para resolver el misterio de su madre, e intentando demostrar las dos hermanos y así misma qué es capaz de resolver también algunos casos, mientras se mete en todo tipo de dificultades.
In my opinion this movie was not good enough, as I mentioned I expected it to be as entertaining as the others, but it was not, on the contrary we saw a kind of teen romance movie, in which a girl tries to do something she is not really prepared for, this leaves me with a feeling of disappointment or of having wasted my time.
Although none of that stopped me from watching it to the end, I think what they wanted to convey with this movie was that all the effort her mom had invested in Enola, teaching her since she was a child to defend herself among other necessary things, helped her despite being a woman and living in a time when women were not allowed to do many things, to run away from what was expected of her, and instead do what she liked.
En mi opinión esta película no fue lo suficientemente buena, cómo les mencione esperaba que fuera igual de entretenida que las demás, pero no fue así, por el contrario vimos una especie de película de romance adolescente, en la que una muchacha intenta hacer algo para lo que no está preparada de verdad, esto me deja con una sensación de decepción o de haber perdido mi tiempo.
Aunque nada de eso impidió que la viera hasta el final, yo creo que lo que querían transmitir con esta película era que todo el esfuerzo que su mamá había invertido en Enola, enseñando la del desde niña a defenderse entre otras cosas necesarias, la ayudaron a pesar de ser mujer y vivir en una época en la que las mujeres no tenían permitido hacer muchas cosas, a huir de lo que se esperaba de ella, y en su lugar hacer lo que le gustaba.
Her decisions and character were so strong and determined, that she succeeds, regardless of the society she lived in, demonstrating in that very square era that women are also capable of doing quite a few things, and this is something we can take and stay from this movie, although women today have many freedoms that they did not before, there are still certain prejudices and customs that condemn them in some way.
But this part of the movie in which we see a mother striving with all her being to teach her daughter to be what she wanted, even though the world outside screamed that she could not, this undoubtedly made her grow up sure of what she wanted and with the strength to overcome everything that could get in her way, something that should be taught not only by mothers but also by fathers to daughters today.
Sus decisiones y carácter fueron tan fuertes y determinados, que lo logra, sin importar la sociedad en la que vivía, demostrando en esa época tan cuadrada que las mujeres también son capaces de hacer bastantes cosas, y esto es algo que podemos tomar y quedarnos de esta pelicula, aunque las mujeres hoy día tienen muchas libertades que antes no, siguen habiendo ciertos prejuicios y costumbres que las condenan de alguna manera.
Pero esta parte de la película en la que vemos a una madre esforzándose con todo su ser por enseñar a su hija a ser lo que ella quisiera, aunque el mundo afuera gritara que no podía, esto sin duda hizo que ella creciera segura de lo que quería y con las fuerzas de pasar por encima de todo lo que pudiera interponerse en su camino, algo que deberian enseñar no sólo las madres sino también los padres a las hijas hoy en día.
But in conclusion I didn't like the movie, I felt it lacked quite a bit, and that it could have made a good movie and instead just wanted to give some teenage entertainment, quid gave dealt with a very good subject and that's admirable, but again, they could have done much better.
Pero en conclusión la película no me gustó, sentí que le faltó bastante, y que se pudo hacer una película buena y en su lugar sólo quisiera dar un poco de entretenimiento adolescente, quid dieron tratar un muy buen tema y eso es admirable, pero de nuevo, pudieron hacerlo mucho mejor.
