Hello my people, today I come to do one of my favorite hive activities and that is to talk about movies, I just saw one that I can not leave for later to tell you about, it is the movie "Summer of 84" and I have to say that it has left me with many mixed emotions and I think it is the best time to tell you about it and recommend it to you.
This movie focuses on a group of teenagers who get involved in an investigation to catch a serial killer in their neighborhood during the summer of 1984. It is set in the 1980's, which gives it a very interesting retro feel that I really enjoyed. The direction and cinematography are excellent, managing to create an atmosphere of tension and suspense that is maintained until the end. The characters are also very well constructed and I grew fond of some of them as I got to know them.
However, I have to say that the movie also left me with a bittersweet taste. The plot is very raw and somewhat explicit scenes are shown, which may be a bit strong for some people, for me it was bearable, but really these scenes made me feel the movie quite a bit, so I was outraged, I felt anger, sadness and more. It also made me reflect on violence in society and how it affects each of us.
Hola mi gente, hoy vengo a realizar una de mis actividades favoritas de hive y es hablar de películas, yo acabo de ver una que no puedo dejar para después para contarles, dñse trata de la película "Verano del 84" y tengo que decir que me ha dejado con muchas emociones encontradas y creo que es el mejor momento para contarles de ella y recomendarselas.
Esta película se centra en un grupo de adolescentes que se ven envueltos en una investigación para atrapar a un asesino en serie en su vecindario durante el verano de 1984. Está ambientada en los años 80, lo que le da un toque retro muy interesante y que me gustó mucho. La dirección y la fotografía son excelentes, logrando crear una atmósfera de tensión y suspenso que se mantiene hasta el final. Los personajes también están muy bien construidos y les agarré hasta cariño a algunos de ellos a medida que los fui conociendo.
Sin embargo, tengo que decir que la película también me dejó con un sabor agridulce. La trama es muy cruda y se muestran escenas algo explícitas, lo que puede ser un poco fuerte para algunas personas, para mí fue soportable, pero de verdad que estas escenas lograron que sintiera la película bastante, así que me indigné, sentí rabia, tristeza y más. También me hizo reflexionar sobre la violencia en la sociedad y cómo afecta a cada uno de nosotros.
Despite this, I think Summer of 84 is a very well made film that manages to mix several genres, such as psychological horror, comedy and drama, in a very good way and that makes it interesting because the plot is very well constructed and keeps you glued to the TV until the end, I think I ate more than three nails while watching it, but that's okay, because I enjoyed watching it.
One of the reflections that led me to make this film is the way in which the media can manipulate public opinion. The plot is set in a time when newspapers and television were the most important means of informing people. The way the coverage of the murders is presented in the film, with sensationalist headlines and biased news, made me think about how the media can shape people's opinions and how it is important to have a critical attitude towards what is presented in the media.
Another theme it deals well with is violence. The film crudely shows the murder of several people and the violence that is exercised on bodies, sometimes we do not turn these things over in our minds, but they happen in the world and much more often than we can imagine. Although it is a work of fiction, it made me reflect because the film presents violence as something that is present in everyday life, in the street, at home and wherever we live, and this led me to reflect on how violence is a reality that we all face and how it is important to work each of us so that it does not get worse.
A pesar de esto, creo que verano del 84 es una película muy bien realizada y que logra mezclar varios géneros, como el terror psicológico, la comedia y el drama, de una manera muy buena y que la hace interesante porque la trama está muy bien construida y te mantiene pegado al televisor hasta el final, yo creo que me comí más de tres uñas mientras la veía, pero esta bien, porque me agradó verla.
Una de las reflexiones que me ha llevado a hacer esta película es la manera en que los medios de comunicación pueden manipular la opinión pública. La trama se desarrolla en una época en la que los periódicos y la televisión eran los medios más importantes para informar a la gente. La manera en que se presenta la cobertura de los asesinatos en la película, con titulares sensacionalistas y noticias tendenciosas, me hizo pensar en cómo los medios de comunicación pueden moldear la opinión de las personas y cómo es importante tener una actitud crítica frente a lo que se presenta en los medios.
Otro tema que aborda bien es la violencia. La película muestra con crudeza el asesinato de varias personas y la violencia que se ejerce sobre los cuerpos, a veces no le damos vuelta en nuestra mente a estas cosas, pero pasan en el mundo y mucho más seguido de lo que podemos imaginar. Aunque se trata de una obra de ficción, me hizo reflexionar porque la película presenta la violencia como algo que está presente en la vida cotidiana, en la calle, en la casa y en por donde vivimos, y esto me llevó a reflexionar sobre cómo la violencia es una realidad a la que todos nos enfrentamos y cómo es importante trabajar cada uno de nosotros para que no empeore.
This is a movie that fulfills its purpose of entertaining us and although it deals with a reality that is not pleasant to accept, it leaves us with things to think about and that makes it a good movie, I recommend watching it if you are not a sensitive person, because it is an interesting story and with performances that I think were very good. If you are looking to see something that makes you not want to look away, this is the movie for you.
Esta es una película que cumple con su propósito de entretenernos y aunque trata una realidad que no es agradable de aceptar, nos deja cosas en las que podemos pensar y eso lo hace una buena película, recomiendo verla si no eres una persona sensible, porque es una historia interesante y con actuaciones que pienso que fueron muy buenas. Si lo que buscas ver es algo que te haga no querer mirar a otra parte, esta es la película.
