Wow this is probably the most romantic display in an anime that I have ever seen and it was just the first episode. I think the editors were extra motivated since they were going to tear it down in minutes to make it extra sweet and extra open.


The story of Koi To Uso is interesting because they actually take a realistic vision of Japan's declining natality rate and how the government will come to a decision to hand pick citizens up for marriage under the strategy to get the society to grow. And like most government solutions it fucks a lot of people over, like these kids having to reject their love because of government intervention.
Hits a soft spot on my libertarian heart.
