Final girls, despite the fact that the title may suggest some kind of silly comedy, is quite a well-made film and in some places in a ridiculous way tries to show the stupidity of the films of the 80s.

The film tells the story of Amanda and her daughter Max, who go to audition for a movie, but are rejected by the producers, who see that she has acted in a bad movie before. On their way back home they have a serious accident from which only Max survives. She cannot come to terms with her mother's death, she wanted to tell her too much. After a year she meets friends who organize a movie show. The main movie will be the one in which Amanda starred. Max, along with her friends, moves into the movie. Not only will she have to fight a maniacal killer, but she will also have to say goodbye to her mom.

The film is a parody of such films as Friday the 13th, Bloody Camp, and any other related to a camp where a murderer was prowling. The film mocks not only the outline, but the conventions of the music or even the flashbacks and slowing down of time at important moments.

The film can be interpreted ambiguously as a nice comedy, where we have characters who are in the film and can't leave it, or it can be interpreted as the coma of the main character and the last seance in her head. Several times the director tries to show that he is trying to put something more interesting under the cloak of comedy.

In the film there is an actress known from American Horror Story - Taissa Farmiga, who played very convincingly, you can say that the role was written perfectly for her because she is such a secretive young warrior, who eventually has to face the murderer.

The title Final girls refers to the fact that there is always a girl in the finale who wins against the murderer, the only condition being that she must be a virgin to defeat the murderer, and this is also neatly mocked in the film. A parody of Jason Voorhees appears in the film, this time as Billy with the worst mask ;D

Many references can be mentioned, but it is worth catching on your own.

An interesting treatment is the inclusion of several well-known musical hits of the 80s, including the immortal Bette Davis track Eyes

Final girls pomimo, ze tytuł może sugerować jakaś głupia komedie to jest całkiem sprawnie zrealizowany film i miejscami w prześmiewczy sposób stara się ukazać głupotę filmów lat 80.

Film opowiada o Amandzie która wraz z córka Max jedzie na przesłuchanie do filmu, jednak producenci ja przekreślają widząc, ze grała kiedyś w słabym filmie. W drodze powrotnej maja poważny wypadek z którego wychodzi żywa tylko Max. Nie może pogodzić się ze śmiercią swojej mamy, zbyt wiele chciała jej jeszcze powiedzieć. Po roku spotyka znajomych którzy organizują pokaz filmowy. Głównym filmem będzie film w którym zagrała Amanda. Max wraz z przyjaciółmi przenosi się do filmu. Nie tylko będzie musiała stoczyć walkę z maniakalnym morderca, ale będzie musiała się tez pożegnać z mama.

Film jest parodia takich filmów jak Piątek 13, krwawy obóz i każdy inny związany z obozem gdzie grasował jakiś morderca. Film wyśmiewa nie tylko zarys, ale i konwencje muzyki czy nawet retrospekcje i spowolnienie czasu w ważnych momentach.

Film można odebrać dwuznacznie jako fajna komedie, gdzie mamy bohaterow, którzy są w filmie i nie mogą go opuścić, albo właśnie drugie dno czyli śpiączka głównej bohaterki i ostatni seans w jej głowie. Reżyser kilka razy właśnie stara się pokazać, ze pod płaszczem komedii stara się umieścić coś bardziej ciekawego.

W filmie występuje aktorka znana z Amercan Horror Story czyli Taissa Farmiga, którzy grała bardzo przekonująco, można rzec ze rola pisana idealnie pod nią gdyż jest taka skryta w sobie młoda wojowniczka, która ostatecznie musi zmierzyć się z morderca.

Można wymieniać wiele odniesień, ale warto samemu wyłapać.

Ciekawym zabiegiem jest umieszczenie kilku znanych hitów muzycznych lat 80 w tym nieśmiertelny kawałek Bette Davis Eyes
