It's been a while since there's been an animation related review on my blog. Yesterday, however, I decided to watch something light and such to relieve stress and fell on the animation Mitchells vs. machines and I must admit that it was sensational, but one by one.
The animation is on a high level, the characters are drawn in an interesting way, and at the same time they have their own depth and each character is three-dimensional when it comes to the emotions they express or the story they want to tell. The computer animations are sometimes extremely well done, so it's great to watch and you can even absorb this world.
The screenplay aspect is interestingly handled because while we have the main theme of saving the world, there is another equally important theme that runs throughout the film, which is family and that despite failures, you can count on it. The humor here is very nicely done, not once while watching the animation did I burst out laughing because the joke perfectly matched my sense of humor, the creators maneuver between the well-known games, but also parody well-known movies including Kill Bill with music and choreography.
The film is long for an animation because it's almost 2 hours long, but it gives us a better understanding of this strange and crazy family. The story is that the Mitchells' daughter gets to study film and goes on a journey to the university (which is with her family) in the meantime the creator of the smartphone application makes a mistake and technology takes over the world. Only the Mitchell family is able to neutralize the program and save millions of lives, and at the same time reconcile with the rebellious daughter who is different from everyone else.

The film slightly adds lesbian themes, which are very subtle and delicate, so that the viewer is not surprised by the orientation of the heroine, but also does not make a fuss about it. In my opinion it was shown perfectly so that an older viewer would know, while a younger one could miss it without losing anything from the plot.
All in all, the film is one of the most interesting animations with a lot of comedy and a great song On my Way.
I recommend if you are feeling mentally drained this is a great film that will make you laugh and make you feel like a little kid watching the best film ever. 9/10
Dawno nie było na moim blogu recenzji związanej z animacja. Wczoraj jednak postanowiłem coś obejrzeć lekkiego i takiego by odstresować się i padło na animacje Mitchellowie kontra maszyny i muszę przyznać, ze była rewelacyjna, ale po koleji.
Animacja jest na wysokim poziomie, postacie ciekawie narysowane, a przy tym maja swoją glebie i każda z postaci jest trójwymiarowa jeśli chodzi o wyrażone emocje czy historie jaka chce przekazać. Komputerowe animacje bywają niezwykle dobrze dopracowane dzięki temu świetnie ogląda się i można wręcz wchłonąć ten świat.
Aspekt scenariusza jest ciekawie poprowadzony bo i ile mamy główny wątek ratowania świata to jednak przez cały film podąża drugi równie ważny wątek jakim jest rodzina i to, ze pomimo porażek można na nią liczyć. Humor jest tutaj bardzo fajnie poprowadzony nie raz oglądając animacje wybuchałem ze śmiechu gdyż żart idealnie pasował w moje poczucie humoru, twórcy manewrują między znanymi zagrywkami, ale i parodiują znane filmy w tym Kill Bill z muzyka i choreografia.
Film jest długi jak na animacje gdyż trwa prawie 2 godziny, ale dzięki temu bardziej rozumiemy ta dziwna i zwiariowanych rodzine. Fabuła opowiada o tym, ze córka Mitchellow dostaje się na studia filmowe i wyrusza w podróż na uczelnie ( która jest z jej rodzina) w między czasie twórca aplikacji na smartfony robi błąd i technologia przejmuje władze na świecie. Tylko rodzina Mitchellow jest w stanie zneutralizować program oraz uratować miliony istnień, a przy tym pojednać się z zbuntowana córka która jest inna niż wszyscy.

Film lekko tez dodaje wątki lesbijskie, które tutaj są bardzo subtelne i delikatne tak by widz nie był zaskoczony orientacja bohaterki, ale tez nie robił afery na ten temat. Moim zdaniem zostało to ukazane idealnie tak by starszy widz wiedział, zaś młodszy mógł przegapić nie tracąc nic z fabuły.
Całościowo film to jedna z ciekawiej zrobionych animacji z duża doza komedii i świetna piosenka On my Way.
Polecam jeśli czujecie się psychicznie wyprani to jest świetna pozycja, która spowoduje, ze będziecie się śmiać i trochę poczujecie się jak małe dzieci które właśnie oglądają najlepszy film. 9/10
