Mortal Kombat 2021 is a successful film in terms of script and effects.
The film is different than the one we know from 1995, it is closer to the games and it speaks very well of the production.
The plot is different, we first get to know how Sub Zero slaughters the Scorpion family, and then the film shifts us forward for several years, showing certain events.
MK2021 does not focus on the local movie, here it looks completely different. The bad guys, led by Shung Tsung, attack the good guys Raiden is trying to train.
Of course, iconic characters like Sonya or Liu and Jax appear in the film. As for the effects, the film is properly made.
The fights are effective and the movie often winks when a hero does Finisher. There are also some references to the production from 1995, and not only in terms of music, but a certain character that looks very similar.
The finale is very satisfying if you can generally say about this type of film. The end heralds another part, which is known to arise if people like it. I think it's a movie for you.
An interesting scenario and a lot of references to games or movies with movements or with Finishers. Raiden's preparation of the warriors takes place in a mysterious one, which is attacked by Shang Tsung so that he can quickly defeat the last to Raiden and the power to possess their souls.
(Trailer) As for the finishers, they are brutal and like we've seen in the games, and the finisher with the famous "Flawless Victory" spoken by Raiden gives shivers down the spine.
The plot is much better than 1995, although the film was very well done, the effects were very average, here the movie plays with the convention, letting the viewer experience some flavors every now and then.
I recommend watching because it is a movie that will reopen the gates of Mortal Kombat 7/10 for me due to the lack of music to Rej and a poorly created character of Scorpion.
Many Finishers are brilliantly made and yet the movie is not that brutal, I could say the blood here is less than in the games, but the dismemberment here will be in many ways. If you've seen MK animations, the new one about Scorpion, here we have a cinematic inspiration, but curiously shortened enough that it is quite well done.
There are also new interesting characters, but I'll leave them for you to watch. I recommend the movie is great in its genre and one of the better when it comes to the Mortal Kombat universe, it remains to wait until the second part and other famous characters from the world of MK appear
