Recently horror movies have a problem because they duplicate two well-known themes of zombies or possession, with the latter theme I will deal with in today's review.

The film starts with... a possession ritual where a young girl witnesses an attempted exorcism on her mother, when she sees the devil suddenly the film flips to the future and it's present time, now our heroine is kidnapped by two crazy people where they try to find out why she came to town.
The old men torture the woman while asking her strange things. After this exciting scene we get a flashback of why the main character came to this town and why she went to the mysterious cave.

The film is a bit chaotic, lacking a slow introduction where we could get to know the heroine and her purpose, and so we count on subsequent flashbacks to give us a fraction of the story.
The film is well shot, the camera work is vivid and the characters are played convincingly, but the biggest flaw is the script or the lack of a beginning to the script. Our heroine is an editor who writes an article ( on Hive;)?) trying to write about the ancient beliefs that are in a small town in Mexico, even when her friend comes to her she does not want to help because she thinks there is a demon in her ;)

On the one hand, we have an interesting Mexican version of the exorcist, but on the other hand, the film lacks an introduction that would outline the more positive and negative characters.
The film, once it gets on the right track, keeps you in suspense because you don't really know if the people who kidnapped the heroine are insane maniacs or if the heroine might really have a demon inside her
The music in the film, despite being typical for Latin countries, fits perfectly into this strange, crazy atmosphere.
The setting is interestingly done, with most of the film taking place in a small room where a chicken occasionally marches.
As for the negative background characters we have two elderly people an elderly man and a woman who think our heroine has a demon in her, and with each passing day a lot is changing for the bad.
Writing articles in this video can bring you to a small chicken room ;) bedridden.
Not counting the chaotic beginning (which, in retrospect, makes sense but not necessarily for the viewer) the film draws you in.
From the middle of the film, it builds an interesting atmosphere where it's hard to tell the difference between fiction and madness.
The film may be a little reminiscent of Clovelfield 10, where the characters behaved in such a way that it was hard to tell what was real and what was crazy, which is also the case here.
I rate the film 6/10 because it lacked something that would catch me from the beginning, but we have to go through the chaos first to slowly get into the mood.
