Świat po rozwodzie rodziców Evan był dla młodej Wood pierwszym znaczącym ciosem, który mocno wgryzł się na długie lata. Mimo zamieszkania z mama powoli zaczęły się nie dogadywać. 2 Spotkanie z diabłem. Kiedy już poznaliśmy życie Evan i wiemy jaka osoba jest i była to twórcy dokumentu przestawianą główna postać dramatu czyli Briana a raczej Marilyna Mansona i ich związek.
Tutaj dokument początkowo stara się tylko pokazać pewne relacje oraz jak doszło do spotkania by stopniowo ukazywać najgorsze co mogło się wydarzyć w tym romansie.
Całość części 1 to trudna miejscami mrożąca krew w żyłach analiza między ponad 37 letnim rockmanem, a młoda 18 letnia dziewczyna.
