Robert Reborn is a bad film though consistent in what kind of story it wants to tell.
Recently Netflix, every now and then showed me some part of this powerful series. I decided to watch the oldest then available (on Netflix there are not a generation of films) I turned on and the first thing that strikes you is cheap production, but at the same time makes you want to watch this show. The film takes place at a time when Stalin is on his deathbed and two lieutenants who must rescue the great Tsar. The circumstances of the mission cause Olga to be sent on a mission to kill Trotsky, and after the mission she goes to see an unusual puppet theater where the Creator performs some pretty gruesome scenes with puppets without using any lines. The intrigue thickens when Olga fails to learn the technique of how Toymaker did his show. Things get complicated when she discovers that the puppets can live on their own.
Despite a very small theatrical budget the film has an idea of its own, with murderous puppets and a crazy old man and of course the Soviets who want to take over the book and bring Stalin back to life. The film itself is a bit of a variation on Chucky and Puppet Master. The film should be watched with a lot of distance, because it is closer to an adolescent creepypasta than to a full-fledged horror film. I haven't seen other movies, but here I have to admit one thing - the creators tried to create their myth around the doll and it worked out quite interestingly.
On the one hand I recommend it, even though the film is low budget, for a person who enters the world of horrors this light thriller will be perfect. On the other hand, you can feel the cheapness and very poor sound engineering, which in some scenes makes us feel as if we were watching a theater rather than a horror film. Unfortunately there are also death scenes where characters die before they are killed ;) The concept of the killer dolls itself is pretty cool. The dolls look scary and intriguing at the same time. I recommend it, because in no other movie you will see a massacre in a plane organized by 4 puppets of the master puppeteer ;)
5/10 although for most it may be a 1/10 movie, but for me it shows that the creators worked hard and created a movie for younger audience.

W ostatnim czasie Netflix, co chwile ukazywał mi jakaś cześć tej potężnej serii. Postanowiłem obejrzeć najstarsza wtedy dostępna ( na Netflix pojawiają się nie pokolenie filmy) Włączyłem i pierwsze co się rzuca w oczy to tanie wykonanie, choć jednocześnie powoduje, ze chce się obejrzeć ten spektakl. Film dzieje się w czasach kiedy Stalin leży na łożu śmierci i dwóch poruczników, którzy musza uratować wielkiego Cara. Okoliczności misji powoduje ze Olga zostaje wysłana na misje zabicia Trockiego, a po misji idzie zobaczyć niezwykły teatr lalek gdzie Twórca przestawia dosyć makabryczne sceny z lalkami a przy tym nie używając żadnych linek. Intryga się zagęszcza kiedy Olga nie poznaje techniki jak Toymaker robił swoje show. Wszystko się komplikuje, kiedy odkrywa, ze lalki mogą żyć same.
Film pomimo bardzo małego wręcz teatralnego budżetu ma na siebie pomysł mamy mordercze lalki oraz szalonego starca i oczywiście Sowietów którzy chcą przejac ksiege i ożywić Stalina. Sam film to trochę wariacja na temat laleczki Chucky oraz Puppet Master. Film należy oglądać z duża doza dystansu, gdyż bliżej temu filmowi do młodzieńczej Creepypasty niż do pełnoprawnego horroru. Innych filmów nie widziałem, ale tutaj muszę przyznać jedno, twórcy starali się stworzyć swój mit wokół lalki i wyszło im to całkiem ciekawie.
Z jednej strony polecam mimo, ze film jest niskich lotow to dla osoby która wkracza świat hororu to taki lekki dreszczowiec będzie idealny. Z drugiej czuć ta taniość oraz bardzo słaba realizacja dźwięku, przez co w niektórych scenach czujemy się jakbyśmy właśnie oglądali teatr niż film grozy. Są tez niestety sceny śmierci gdzie postacie giną nim zostaną zabici ;) Sam koncept zabójczych lalek jest całkiem fajnie poprowadzony lalki wyglądają przerażająco i jednocześnie intrygują. Polecam bo w żadnym innym filmie nie zobaczycie masakry w samolocie urządzonej przez 4 lalki pana lalkarza ;)
5/10 choć dla większości może to być film 1/10, ale dla mnie tutaj widać, ze twórcy się napracowali i stworzyli film dla młodszych odbiorców.
