This is the first time Netflix has been consistent to the end with their convention and created a show that pokes fun at everything, yet is slickly produced and has a multitude of 90s pop culture references. Series based on the show's exaggerated convention don't happen often, but when they do, my heart starts beating harder and I can feel the nostalgic memories of VHS time pouring out of the screen.

Smash or Saturday morning all star hits. It's an entertainment program aired on Saturdays with two laid back hosts where besides funny conversations the viewers get doses of cartoons.

The whole show is one big parody of well known shows from Mtv with brutal surroundings screaming from the screen for viewers to watch, and at the same time interestingly led plot, which is so unconventional that only a child of 90s could come up with something like that.

_zrodlo. The whole thing consists of 8 episodes, but the feature series is one thing, the other bottom is deeper hidden in the cartoons, or rather their parodies. We have here parodies of Denver the Last Dinosaur, who drinks, has depressive states and cannot find himself in the reality full of violence. The second animation is a parody of Caring Bears, oh who among us has not once cheered the witch and Troll to finally defeat the bears. In this version, instead of teddy bears we have creative bears who live in an old shed and help a family. The whole thing is also very depressing, but also on the borderline of horror, the humor is very good and we can laugh while watching. Another parody is of course The World According to Ludwik. This version is different and tells the story of a different boy, but the convention is identical. Even was laughed at that parody turned out to be so poor, that was removed after the first episode ;>

And then there are the parodies that I found hard to classify what they are about, but they are great.

_source. Each animation is created as if you were watching an old animation with errors and noise. When it comes to acting we have a plot where one of the brothers gets a job in dubbing for one of the episodes and becomes famous in the meantime two famous young actors disappear and the search begins. Each episode is VHS-recorded in appearance, with commercials with family transitions and news. The creators have gone to great lengths to make the project look like a parody, but also to give it a nostalgic kick when it comes to portraying a 30 minute show. As a whole it is very enjoyable to watch and even though it is a show for adults there are no vulgar things that could cause any controversy, the cartoons are toned down and the brutality is shown minimally, overall it is a comedy that could have been shown 30 years ago even with this amount of brutality. One of the episodes even parodies that it is vulgar by using the word "Snout" and there is a parody where all the characters fight to keep the kids from saying that bad word. As you can see this is a show that is not meant to shock but to give light entertainment with rubber characters and cartoons that mock conventions. As for me one of the best comedy series of 2021, maybe there will still be another season.

_source. To its great credit, the series features a plethora of well-known names, but they're both so over-the-top that it's hard to recognize anyone, and the bright light emitting tape noise doesn't help much.

Pierwszy raz Netflix był konsekwentny do końca w swojej konwencji i stworzył program, który wyśmiewa wszystko, a przy tym jest zgrabnie zrealizowany i posiada multum odniesień do popkultury lat 90. Seriale oparte na przesmiewczej konwencji programu nie zdarzają się często, jednak kiedy już się pojawiają, moje serce zaczyna mocniej bić i czuje wylewające się z ekranu nostalgiczne wspomnienia czasie VHS.

Smash czyli Saturday morning all star hits. To program rozrywkowy emitowany w soboty z dwoma wyluzowanymi prowadzącymi gdzie prócz śmiesznych rozmow widzowie otrzymują dawki kreskówek.

Cały ten program jest jedna wielka parodia znanych programów z Mtv z brutalna otoczka krzycząca z ekranu by widzowie oglądali, a przy tym ciekawie prowadzona fabuła, która jest tak nieszablonowa, ze tylko dziecko lat 90 mogło na coś takiego wpaść.

_zrodlo. Całość składa się z 8 odcinków, jednak serial fabularny to jedno, drugie dno jest głębiej ukryte w kreskówkach, a raczej ich parodiach. Mamy tutaj parodie Denver ostatni Dinozaur, który pije, miewa stany depresyjne oraz nie potrafi się odnaleźć w rzeczywistości pełnej przemocy. Druga animacja to parodia troskliwych misi, ach któż z nas kiedyś nie dopingował czarownicy i Trollowi by wreszcie pokonali misie. W tej wersji, zamiast troskliwych misi mamy twórcze misie, które mieszkają w starej szopie i pomagają pewnej rodzinie. Całość jest również mocno depresyjna, ale i na pograniczu horroru, humor bardzo trafiony i oglądając możemy się pośmiać. Kolejna parodia jest oczywiście Świat według Ludwiczka. W tej wersji jest zmieniony co prawda i opowiada o innym chłopczyku, ale konwencja jest identyczna. Nawet zostało wyśmiane to, ze parodia okazała się tak kiepska, ze została usunięta po pierwszym odcinku ;>

No i jeszcze są parodie, które ciężko mi było sklasyfikować czego mogą dotyczyć, ale wyszły świetnie.

_zrodlo. Każda animacja jest tworzona w takim stylu jakby się oglądało stara animacje z błędami oraz z szumem. Jeśli chodzi o wstawki aktorskie to mamy fabule gdzie jeden z braci dostaje angaż w dubbingu do jednego z odcinku i staje się sławny w między czasie znikają dwoje znanych młodych aktorów i zaczynaja się poszukiwania. Każdy odcinek jest z wyglądu jak nagrany na VHS, z reklamami z przejściami rodzinnymi oraz z wiadomościami. Twórcy bardzo mocno podeszli do projektu by wzbudzić bie tylko zachwyt na temat parodii, ale i dać nostalgicznego kopa jeśli chodzi o ukazanie 30 minutowego show. Całościowo ogląda się to bardzo przyjemnie i po mimo, ze to program dla dorosłych nie ma tutaj wulgarnych rzeczy, które mogły by wzbudzić jakaś kontrowersje, kreskówki są stonowane, a brutalność ukazana minimalnie to ogólnie jest komedia, która mogłaby lecieć te 30 lat temu nawet z ta doza brutalności. Jeden z odcinków nawet parodiuje to ze jest wulgarny przez to, ze pojawia się słowo Stul Pysk i pojawia się parodia gdzie wszystkie postacie walczą by dzieci nie mówiły tego złego słowa. Jak widać jest to program, który nie ma za zadanie szokować a dać lekka rozrywkę z gumowymi postaciami i kreskówkami, które wyśmiewają konwencje. Jak dla mnie jeden z lepszych seriali komediowych 2021 roku, być może jeszcze będzie kolejny sezon.

_zrodlo. Na duże uznanie trzeba oddać to, ze w serialu pojawia się plejada znanych nazwisk, jednak są obi tak ucharakteryzowani, ze ciężko rozpoznać kogokolwiek, a jaskrawe światło emitujące szum taśmy niezbyt pomaga w tym.
