I'll tell you that I've been putting off watching today's film for quite a long time because some time ago I saw the original, which was below all criticism.
But today I got myself together, locked my depression away and started watching Suicide Squad 2021
Some elements James Gunn rearranges differently in this film, adding more humor, while others he shows in an accessible and quick way without long introductory sequences.
There are a few scenes that I find so stupid that they are good, like sending Weasel on a suicide mission where everyone jumps into the water, and only Weasel dies because they forgot he can't swim ;D
There are a lot of those kinds of scenes here and they work well. The film also draws from other cinema such as Equalibrum. Many of the scenes flow nicely, there is no so called "boredom", and the scene in the bar is seemingly ordinary but fits the song perfectly.

Of course the film has downsides, but there are quite a few less and the plot days are fairly well camouflaged.
As the film is rated R, which rarely happens in superhero cinema, there is a lot of blood and gore, but everything is served with such a light humour that it does not cause embarrassment. Harley Quinn's behavior still doesn't appeal to me, there's more madness in this movie, somewhere on the verge of suicide, but somehow it's hard for me to accept this new design.
King Shark is a character here that adds such an unforced light humor and even though he can eat people we like this character from beginning to end.
I won't list every character here, but there are some who are seemingly good to betray and want to destroy the team in the last act of the film.

When it comes to this type of video, it's clear that a lot of it has to be based on interesting songs, and there are a few that go down quickly in the memory.
The downside of the whole film is the elimination of certain characters that play key roles, here in this film no one feels safe, although as viewers we should get a team that survives to the end.
The downside may also be the beginning, which takes a long time and tries to hmm tell the stories of certain characters quickly. The theme of corrupted authorities didn't appeal to me very much.
I'm writing about the movie, but as you've noticed I haven't touched on the plot thread yet, and it's about time.
The plot is simple and refers to the old comics which is obviously a plus. On the other plus is most of the team who appeared somewhere in the comics.

In the story we have our team led by Bloosport who together with. Harley have to get to the island and break the tower, which is very specific because of some content.
The whole team will fight a lot of different battles, but the final boss, as if to say, is not such a negative character, it was the Americans who made the monster, and she just wanted to watch the stars.
Amidst all the ridiculous craziness, the finale is quite sad and we as viewers are sad that this is how some character's fate turned out.
The film is much more interesting biz version In 2016, the humor is not forced, and more is created on the basis of relationships with the characters and how they react to the situation
Personally, I think it's worth watching this version and forgetting the previous one, or having a lobotomy to keep your mind completely clear when watching the 2021 version. 8/10
