Twilight Zone is one of those movies that I remember from my childhood in the VHS era.
I have never watched a series from the 60s, but I remember the 1983 movie very well and once in a while I like to come back to this movie and feel younger.
This is one of those films that evoke adolescence.
The film consists of 4 stories that are not related to each other and are of the youth horror genre.
Each of the stories tells about something extraordinary, one could say that it's Tales from the Crypt for a younger audience.
Despite the 38 years, this film still has this unique atmosphere, and each story has its own atmosphere and sometimes even a moral.
The first film is about a man who did not get a promotion and starts making a row in a bar and demonstrating how racist he is. When he leaves the bar, he goes to different years, when Jews, blacks and Asians had the most difficult years, the hero will discover on his own skin that every person is the same (In my opinion, this short video is very good shows that being racist is the worst that can be for humanity)
In the next one we meet a beautiful woman who stops in a restaurant and after a short conversation she leaves it, accidentally hitting a boy's car and destroying his bicycle. When she takes him to his house, he does not even realize what he is involved in (this episode is quite often parodied in various animations)
Another movie is a novel about an old people's home and that everyone has a child who sometimes wants to break free (a very interesting episode , with a great text: "When we stop having fun, we start to become an old man" I liked it all the more seeing these charming old people who felt younger :) )
The last episode is a masterpiece, that is about a man who was afraid to fly, and when he got in something starts to happen scary on the plane (a very cool film and a protective number of times parodying in various animations)
In general, as a whole, I liked it very clearly, the directors, including Steven Spielberg, gave a bit of horror for the younger viewer, even though I'm 33 years old it was a movie suspenseful and nice to watch, on the one hand terrible stories, on the other hand, a waterfall of nostalgia.
My rating is 8/10 due to my sentiment towards this film, but it also has its smaller flaws that ruled in the cinema of the 80s, despite everything, I recommend returning to this film after many years :) and feel the Twilight Zone
