Today's review will be about the WolfWalkers animation which was phenomenal.
Recently, I watched such wonderful animations 2 years ago and it was then a "Good dinosaur".
Today's animation is a very nicely done line that combines animations from the 90s with modern drawing technique captivated me from the first seconds.
The animation also brings back Disney cartoons from the 90s full of expressive characters. However, so many references, let's focus on the plot because it is beautiful. The plot of the film tells how young Rubyn is fascinated by how her beloved father hunts wolves. the story of the film takes place in 1650 around the spells of the inquisition and various superstitions.
Robyn's dad tries to hunt wolves as much as he can. The small town is ruled by a tyrant like the Lord, forcing Father Rubyn to search for and murder wolves.
Rubyn has an eagle companion who helps in many situations. When, however, accidentally injures his flying companion and a girl appears, everything will slowly start to change and Robyn's belief will change by 180 degrees when he sees the life of wolves and feels like a wolf.
Rubyn will become friends with a young Wolfwalker who is waiting for her mother to come back.
The animation is terribly sad, seeing that we, as humans, are monsters who keep taking from Mother Nature another piece of her flora and fauna.
Animation beautifully shows how wolves live in fear, how they want to live in their territory in the forest, but people like predators want to burn wolves and the forest.
A strong fairy tale with a very good message that we often live not on our own land, but on a land where animals gave us the opportunity to live. Friendship and sacrifice, the will to fight for religion and an attempt to understand what really counts. confusion and new love.
We will get a lot here in this beautiful and very interestingly drawn animation which has a captivating plot and tells from the beginning what is good and what is bad, which unfortunately in these times we get less and less moral lessons.
The plot of the animation is here at a very high level, each element is thought out so that we watch a story that we would like to believe and run on such a wolf ourselves.
It is a story about freedom, which is taken away from animals every so often, and only some of them can speak to hostile people on their behalf.
You hear more than once on TV or in newspapers that wolves attack sheep, they do attack, but man lives in their area, so why should they leave them.
It is worth watching this fairy tale because it will make a great impression on you and the nomination for an Oscar is well deserved.
For me, this is the best animated film of the year and the rating is 100/10
