Some shows run into 16 episodes and every episode of the show makes it obvious that the plot is getting 'dragged' to hell by the writer. Such stories should have just 10 or 12 episodes at best. However, this particular Kdrama, Black Knight, is the opposite.
In my opinion, it feels like the story got rushed a little too much. 6 episodes for a story like this doesn't give us enough time to suck all the juice and sauce out of the show. Hehe. It left some plot holes and some unanswered questions about a bunch of stuff. I'm not sure of their budget for this show, but the lack of depth in the story messed up the show in some ways.
However, if we choose to throw common sense out of the window, this will surely tick the box for a fairly decent show. It is also something unique for the Kdrama industry because we don't usually see a show with a storyline that is based on a dystopian future.

When the world is close to ruin, I guess it wouldn't be a surprise to see people throw their manners out of the window. However, there is a particular character in this show that his manner is so poor... It was distasteful to see him talk down to everyone. Lol.
There are a bunch of things to enjoy about the show. Their casting is amazing and the action scenes are superb. The MMA fight scene in episode 4 is the most outstanding hand-to-hand combat scene in the show. As for the driving scene in that dystopian and deoxygenated setting, it gave viewers some Mad Max Fury vibe. Hehe.
The major themes for the show also have an intriguing vibe. Just think about this;
A Life Without Air
A world without order
A knight without law
Like I've been saying since I watched this show, the story should have built up to at least twice the episodes we got for this. The action scenes are really good, but it feels like the story was sacrificed to fit the action scenes in.
As you watch this show, get ready to hear things like Mutants, Deliverymen, Hunters, Coup d etat, Vaccines, Air Pollution, Lack of oxygen, QR Code, Hierarchical system, Refugees... Stuff like that.
Despite the poor depth of the story because of the episode length restrictions, it's still good to see that there was no cliffhanger at the end. That would have pissed me off.
