Please don't watch this while eating. Every scene is filled with blood. Disgusting?
Holy Moly! Haha. The above statement is the exact advice I got from a netizen while I was considering adding this Kdrama to my watchlist. Every part of that sentence was supposed to make me give up any thought of fitting this to my watchlist.
Well, it came a little too late because I already checked out the synopsis and the cast. I also couldn't unsee the trailer. All I had was my curious self and a whetted appetite. I wanted to see what's so 'disgusting' about this show. Haha. You know, our curiosity can be our worst enemy.

Do you see that? It has just 6 episodes. I thought about it and decided that it wouldn't be a bad idea to check this out. I haven't seen a lot of shows that are fundamentally based on gruesome and gory scenes, so I wasn't sure of what to expect, but things happened pretty fast.
The opening sequence would be described as breathtaking for those that enjoy gory shows, but anyone that doesn't enjoy those will find it quite distributing. Interestingly, it gets better/worse with each passing episode. And, the CGI didn't disappoint. You will see body parts flying around like fishes struggling to escape an aquarium.

If you look beyond the gory part of the show and have a look at the story, I would say the screenwriter did a good job of presenting a unique and interesting storyline.
This show tells the story of a man who crossed paths with organ hunters and subsequently lost an eye to the hunters. The man is a new specie of human... An immortal whose body parts reconnect back to normal even after getting cut off. The eye he lost got transplanted to a serial killer and he was able to see everything the psychopath was seeing through that eye. He begins a hunt for the killer to retrieve his eye and also stop him from killing more people.
The 6 episodes we got here weren't enough to give us the full story. The entire first season was more like a prologue story and it was fairly obvious that the producers designed the first season while having a second season in mind. However, as far as I can tell, there is still no word of a second season.
That's the trailer for the show. Check that out and decide for yourself if you would like this to be on your watchlist. Just have in mind that something has to be said and it has to be said right; Please don't watch this while eating. Most of the scenes are filled with blood. So, if you can't handle that, just skip this.
For me, I appreciate the commitment of the actors to executing their roles. The serial killer dude did an amazing job and he dived into a dark side on this show. I'm patiently waiting for the next season of this show, whenever the producers decide to bring that up.
