There are times when you add a TV show to your watchlist without any idea of what to expect from the actors. But, the moment I saw the cast for this show and all the veterans that made it to the list, I became reassured that this show is going to be worth every minute spent watching it.

The plot got intense and chair-gripping from the very first episode and it nicely maintained the intensity throughout the show. We got sufficient twists and turns with each event as each 'party' tries to outsmart the other by any possible means. Some characters crossed so many moral lines and did despicable things. Yeah, this show is like a rollercoaster ride. Haha.

Do you know what I find interesting about the structure of this show? All the actors who usually take up protagonist roles accepted to play villains in this. It's not something you see every day, but I would love to see more of this concept in other Kdramas.

The storyline is based on Politics and a Political warfare that got dirty and nasty as those aspiring for Mayoral position in Seoul clash with each other in their attempt to demolish their fellow contestants and come out victorious. Since most of the aspirants were determined to do whatever it takes to win, it quickly became obvious that the principle of fairness would be thrown out of the window in this mayoral race.

I saw the signals and smiled sheepishly. The power tussle was unreal. It's a true reflection of what happens in real life during elections. They did a good job of highlighting the political schemes used by Politicians to ruin the reputation of their opponents. The keyboard warriors were not left out. Haha.

If you are not completely into Politics, you can still watch and enjoy this Kdrama. The Politics in it is just to set the stage. There are a lot of interpersonal rivalries that also builds the intensity of the show. Also, if you enjoy watching a show where women think critically and are significant enough to pull strings, this is the show that ticks that box.

I genuinely hope we get to see a second season of this show. The unpacking of the storyline is just too hot. Haha. Also, the late scene in the last episode of the show seems to be pointing to the possibility of a second season. Well, if they wanna cook, I'm all in!
