We Kdrama netizens have seen a lot of mouth-watering Kdramas in the first half of this year and the show list for the second half of this year is already looking crazy. It seems like we are getting spoilt for choice and I'm all in for the adventure.
One of the things I like about the shows that have been released this year so far is the uniqueness of the stories. They have done a really good job in those and we will be looking at another Kdrama with a fairly unique storyline.

Drama: Stealer: The Treasure Keeper
Genre: Action, Adventure, Mystery, Comedy
Network: tvN
Episodes: 12
Release Date: April 12 - May 18, 2023
The show presents the story of an armoured professional artefact stealer called "Skunk" who formed a win-win alliance with an unofficial cultural heritage assets redemption team called "Karma". They allied to pull a heist on those who have been hiding several cultural artefacts owned by the country and still can't be judged by the law.
The objective of this alliance is unofficial and illegal, but it feels like a moral and righteous act to some degree. Haha. Maybe that's why I couldn't hold myself from rooting for the team in every step they took towards pulling their heist to redeem the lost cultural assets and subsequently punish those who have been getting away with personalizing those cultural assets.

Skunk is the face of terror that messes with the bad guys. However, the real face behind the skunk armour turns out to be a very 'lazy' are 'complacent' civil servant who's never taken seriously in his workplace. That's a very good cover, in my opinion. The difference in his character when he's operating as Skunk is a world apart from his character when he's not wearing the suit.
I kinda love how it didn't take long for viewers to know that he's the one behind the skunk mask. It feels pretty obvious if you are watching the show and the reveal happened at the end of the first episode of the show. However, it took longer than that for the unofficial cultural heritage assets redemption team to figure out the true face behind the skunk mask. Well, that's fairly understood too.
One of the things you will enjoy about this show is the comic action sequences in the show. It toned down the seriousness of the theme of the story and the actors executed it nicely in their respective roles. Enjoy the show.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma. Both pictures are taken from the gallery section of this show on MyDramaList
