Where do y'all see the webtoon series you read? Lolz.
I have been seeing a lot of shows which are based on webtoon series and I'm beginning to love how people are hyped and filled with a surge of anticipation as they look forward to how each character in the webtoon would be played by a real-life character. There is something about that whole adrenaline pump they feel that makes me feel like I'm missing out on something. Hehe.
On second thought, let's scratch the whole webtoon series idea. Even if I know where to get one, I can hardly imagine myself scrolling from page to page to read the whole story. I would rather watch a TV show that is based on an interesting webtoon series. Kdramas like Weak Hero Class 1 are a very good example of that.
Wait, dear 'Adult'. Before you write this off as one of those 'boring' high school shows that traps viewers in the fantasy world of bullies and bullied, I want y'all to know that this isn't your every day 'when the quiet kid woke up and chose violence' kinda show.
Nope! This is on a whole different level with 8 whole episodes of mind-blowing storylines and action sequences that will keep you on your toes. Most importantly, it isn't overly dramatic. It's so real and the mere thought of the fact that students pass through this sort of oppression at the hand of bullies is also very painful.
One of the things you will enjoy about this story is the character buildup. The whole focus wasn't on the major character. We also got enough time amid all the chaotic fighting choreography to get some side stories on the supporting characters.
This is a wholesome idea on the side of the screenwriter. This show was one heck of a rollercoaster ride. So much happened in 8 episodes. They sure did a good job of pulling our emotional strings and getting us flared up with some of the ill treatment that the bullies were plotting and executing. This sorta gives viewers maximum satisfaction when the bones of bullies were getting shattered afterwards. Haha.
Sounds like a horror show? Haha. Trust me, the fight scenes are bloody and captured in HD. Lolz.
The only reason for concern I can raise about this Kdrama is that what we have at the moment is not everything. Don't get it wrong. The 8 episodes did justice to every possible question viewers may have. The ending was also nicely done. But, a second season of the show is already approved so, we are all filled with a surge of anticipation. I don't know when that will be aired though. I just hope it will happen before the last quarter of this year.
From all indication, this will be a good time to keep a tab on this Kdrama. Add it to your watchlist and have fun binge-watching the show.
