IRON MAN 2 [MOVIE REVIEW]

I just finished watching Iron man two as my quest to watch/rewatch every avenger movie in their sequence and to be honest, it did not meet my expectations. I guess Iron man 1 just set the standard so high that they could not meet up to their own standard. However there are a few things I would take from this. One is that I love the sequence and how they slowly unveiled the avengers full picture. And secondly was how they made the image of Iron man stick. He was no superhuman, There was nothing special about him except for the fact that he was a damn good engineer who built upon the foundation his father laid.

I guess no one liked the transition of James Rhodes, also known as Rhodey who was Stark's best friend. Even then back then the news around it was wild. The fact that they changed the character from Terrence Howard to Don Cheadle made the movie somehow. Later we heard Howard had issues with the contract Marvel gave him and thus they had to recast the character. A lot of marvel fans especially those who started following the avengers later got to only see Don Cheadle’s character and never knew there was someone who acted the same character before him. To be honest I had gotten so used to Cheadle’s character that I was subconsciously looking for him in iron man 1 until I watched Iron man 2 and realized what happened.

This doesn’t mean that the change made the entire Avengers movie bad, Later parts of the Avengers movie were even more interesting, just that this particular part did not meet the normal avengers standard. Either way, it was a really good watch and now I can move up to the next which tells the story of Thor. I have watched it before, but I anticipate watching it again and when I do, I will be doing the review of the fourth part of the beginning of the Avengers. Yeah you heard me right, Iron man 1, The incredible Hulk, Iron man 2, and Thor are all still the beginning of the avengers or as I would like to call it, the unveiling of the beginning of the Avengers Story…

This time Tony Stark had already been established as Iron man, but something was wrong with him. He was dying. The palladium powering the Arc Reactor in his chest was poisoing his body, so the more he used the suit, the more he was dying. But then again he inherited an enemy who hated him or the things his father did (Ivan Vanko). With everything seeming to be falling apart for Tony, He accidentally sumbled upon his fathers job, and realized thing he never looked into before, a way to power his Arc reactor without poisoning his body and it worked

After testing the theory and realizing that he was no longer dying he then discorved that Ivan had secretly be plotting was to kill him. Fighting Ivan alongside his bestfreind Rhodey who had taken one of his suit to the millitary and earned the name war machine, Tony was finally able to defeat Ivan for good at the same time taking out his competition in the industry...
