Kino No Tabi is one of the most recent anime series to have been given a remake. 14 years after the release of Kino's Journey The Beautiful World (2003), last year audience were presented with Kino's Journey The Beautiful World The Animated Series (2017). While regarded as separate stories, there are overlapping plot lines and characters whose fundamental differences outline how the two anime stand apart despite sharing the same core source material.
