Exorcisms and demons are themes that we usually see in supernatural anime where most of them have a focus on action and suspense but at other times there are somewhat curious and comical combinations. Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san is an anime where Exorcisms, Gods, Demons and ghosts come together with Harem style and a lot of Ecchi to give as a result a comic anime with a much more relaxed and fun approach to those used to the supernatural genre. The story of this anime introduces us to Kogarashi Yuyuzora a young exorcist of 16 years who is in total bankruptcy and aims to become the best exorcist of all. Upon arriving in the new city where he will continue with his life and start his academic life he decides to look for a place to sleep that is very cheap and that is when he finds a room in the Yuragi Guesthouse which is extremely cheap, the reason for the low price is because in the guesthouse lives the spirit of Yuuna Yunohana a sweet 16 year old girl who was found dead in the guesthouse and now her spirit lives in the guesthouse and refuses to move on to the next plane. Kogarashi ponto discovers that Yuuna is not an evil spirit nor does she have dangerous aspirations in the world, she is just a lovely girl who does not remember the reason for her death and is afraid to leave this world.

Kogarashi knows very well for being an exorcist that when spirits stay too long on earth they end up rotting and become evil, that is why after talking and dealing with Yunna he decides to help her to complete the tasks or actions that she left unfinished at the time of death and that is why her soul stayed in the world of the living, all before her soul becomes evil and thus help her to follow her path to the spiritual world happily. Kogarashi will not be the only exorcist in this story as in fact all the other residents of the boarding house are exorcists or have a direct relationship with the spirit world even one of the characters named Yaya Fushiguro has a strong link with this world as she is possessed and protected by a Cat god who besides taking care of her gives her certain magical powers along with the ability to change shape into a cat but in her human form she keeps the cat's ears and tail. All the other protagonists are quite interesting in terms of their abilities and powers.

Throughout its 12 chapters we will see the different adventures of Kogarashi and her friends where what persists most in the same is the comedy along with Ecchi scenes, although it comes to have some moments of action or suspense the same never get to have a feeling very series product of the own approach of the anime, one of the most interesting things are the large number of skills and qualities that has Kogarashi product of his unfortunate ability to be possessed by the spirits that do not want to leave this world, from an obsessed gambler who was the reason why he is bankrupt to a great fish cook who made him learn the best grilled fish recipe in the world, simply in every episode he can come out with some talent product of being possessed and this gives great variety to the comic scenes in the adventure.

This anime does not have a deep and intense development or plot but it has a fun development and magical characters that will make you laugh. About its animation there is not much to say about it, you can notice at first glance that it is a simple and standard work for the time in which it was published, the character design is somewhat basic but they use a lot of intense colors and simple outfits to focus everything in their comedy, they use a lot the scenes where the characters are drawn in a more comic way, with much simpler designs and more exaggerated expressions to emphasize the funny of the scene, ironically in the fanservice scenes for the uncensored version you can see that they put much more effort and work in the animation. Anyway it is a good and short anime to watch if you are looking for something fun and quiet with a good Ecchi touch.

Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san es un anime en donde Exorcismos, Dioses, Demonios y fantasmas se unen al estilo Harem y bastante dosis de Ecchi para dar como resultado un anime cómico con un enfoque mucho más relajado y divertido a los acostumbrados en el género sobrenatural. La historia de este anime nos presenta a Kogarashi Yuyuzora un joven exorcista de 16 años quien se encuentra en quiebra total y tiene como objetivo llegar a ser el mejor exorcista de todos. Al llegar a la nueva ciudad en donde continuara con su vida y comenzara su vida académica decide buscar un lugar para dormir que sea muy económico y es ahí cuando encuentra una habitación en la Pensión Yuragi la cual esta extremadamente economía, la razón del bajo precio se debe a que en la pensión habita el espíritu de Yuuna Yunohana una dulce muchacha de 16 años quien fue encontrada muerta en la pensión y ahora su espíritu vive en la pensión y se niega a seguir al siguiente plano. Kogarashi ponto descubre que Yuuna no es un espíritu maligno ni tiene aspiraciones peligrosas en el mundo, solo es una adorable muchacha que no recuerda la razón de su muerte y tiene miedo de abandonar este mundo.

Kogarashi sabe muy bien por ser exorcista que cuando los espíritus se quedan mucho tiempo en la tierra terminan por pudrirse y volverse malvados, es por ello que luego de hablar y tratar con Yunna decide que la ayudara a completar las tareas o acciones que dejara inconclusas al momento de morir y que por ello su alma se quedó en el mundo de los vivos, todo ello antes que su alma se vuelva malvada y de esta manera ayudarla para poder seguir su camino al mundo espiritual de manera feliz. Kogarashi no será el único exorcista de esta historia ya que de hecho todas las demás residentes de la pensión son exorcistas o tiene relación directa con el mundo de los espíritus incluso una de los personajes llamada Yaya Fushiguro tiene un fuerte vínculo con este mundo al estar poseída y protegida por un dios Gato el cual además de cuidarla le da ciertos poderes mágicos junto con la habilidad de cambiar de forma en un gato pero en su forma humana conserva las orejas y la cola de gato. Todas las demás protagonistas resultan bastante interesante en cuanto a sus habilidades y poderes.

A lo largo de sus 12 capítulos veremos las diferentes aventuras de Kogarashi y sus amigas en donde lo que más persiste en las mismas es la comedia junto con las escenas Ecchi, si bien llega a tener algunos momentos de acción o suspenso los mismos nunca llegan a tener un sentimiento muy serie producto del propio enfoque del anime, una de las cosas más interesantes son la gran cantidad de habilidades y cualidades que tiene Kogarashi producto de su desafortunada capacidad para ser poseído por los espíritus que no quieren dejar este mundo, desde un obsesionado con las apuestas que fue la razón por la cual está en quiebra hasta un gran cocinero de pescado el cual lo hizo aprender la mejor receta de pescado asado en el mundo, simplemente en todos los episodios puede salir con algún talento producto de haber sido poseído y esto le da gran variedad a las escenas cómicas en la aventura.

Este anime no cuenta con un desarrollo o trama profunda e intensa pero cuenta con un divertido desarrollo y personajes mágicos que te hará reír. Sobre su animación no hay mucho que decir al respecto, se puede notar a simple vista que es un trabajo sencillo y estándar para la época en que fue publicado, el diseño de los personajes es algo básico pero usan mucho los colores intensos y atuendos sencillos para enfocar todo en su comedia, utilizan bastante las escenas donde los personajes son dibujados de manera más cómica, con diseños muchos más sencillos y expresiones mas exageradas para hacer énfasis en lo gracioso de la escena, irónicamente en las escenas de fanservice para la versión sin censura se nota que pusieron mucho más empeño y trabajo en la animación. De igual forma resulta en buen y corto anime para ver si buscas algo divertido y tranquilo con un buen toque Ecchi.
