ETERNALLY [ENG]

For some time we have been visualizing in my country the Turkish novels, where many of which have even been based on real events. Most of these stories taken to this television genre have told in a very special and even attractive way the way the citizens of Turkey, a country located in the Eurasian continent, live.
Personally I am not a lover of this type of content because it bores me and Turkish soap operas in particular have the peculiarity of having more than 100 chapters and revolve around the same point. But today's installment captivated my attention since I saw its ad on Cuban television and I started watching it since then, in fact everyone at home shared it in one way or another.

The novel ETERNALLY is an adaptation of the true story entitled (THE BRIDE OF ISTANBUL). It tells the story of Sureya, a talented musician who plays the violin in a bar, but on one of her nights at work she meets Faruck, a rich and powerful businessman who is amazed by her beauty and falls madly in love with her. Sureya's love is so great that she comes to Burza in the company of her beloved, who marries Sureya without informing his family and there begins the story of a love that is only seen in novels, a love that confronts everything. In the end, after having gone through so much, the couple ends up with two beautiful little ones that fill the mansion of the sultana Esma with joy. This was my interpretation after visualizing the novel.
The installment stars Özcan Deniz, Süreyya Deniz and İpek Bilgin. As I said at the beginning, I am not a lover of the genre I mentioned before, but I must admit that the actors of the soap opera did a good job during the filming. I already had references of Özcan Deniz from other novels of this same country as for example A Part of Me starring Kahraman Yörükhan and other characters of the cast in other installments.
Of the scenes that come to my mind are the battles between the brothers to conquer the love of his mother and the wars between Sureya and Esma because they reflect to a large extent the relationship and coexistence between family members. Also, I was very impressed by how even as adults the children have to follow their parents' orders even though they are bad decisions, this seems to be part of their idiosyncrasy and culture.
Well this was my delivery today and I hope you liked it and motivated you to watch this type of television genres from which we can learn a lot about history, religion, culture and geography. Thanks for commenting and reading.
