Hello and good morning Cine Tv community as a good animal lover and also a good lover of romance and comedy movies I would like to dedicate today's post to a movie that made me remember one of my most beloved pets. A year ago I had the opportunity to have a golden retriver Labrador as a companion but it lasted very few years because of a terrible disease that ravaged all the pets in the neighborhood where we lived and for no reason. The fact marked me enough to cry for a whole year for the loss of my pets and especially my dog.
I make this introduction because after going through such pain I enjoyed with my sister the American movie Marley and I starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson, it had a huge impact on my family because it made us remember our friend Bruno.
The plot of the movie revolves around a newlywed couple who decide to bring an adorable companion into their lives. The young couple decides to adopt a golden retriver labrador who changes their boring life into one full of mischief and adventures that they will never forget.
For me one of the most interesting scenes was when At one point in the film, John Grogan, played by Owen, is frustrated at not being able to find writing content for his newspaper column and his friends suggest he write about Marley's antics, he becomes a bit indifferent and begins to enjoy his dog more and soon ideas begin to appear that turn into a number of articles. From here on Marley became famous and wherever he went people recognized him and loved him, this reminded me a lot of my dog, he was almost the same as Marley in this aspect.
One of the scenes that came to mind was when Marley was starting to age and was no longer the naughty little dog he used to be. His owner wanted to be with him at all times because he knew that the day would come when Marley would no longer be with him. For us it was one of the hardest days, in fact even writing this post I still shed crocodile tears just remembering that bad moment we both went through.
Owen's performance as John Grogan was quite sincere and you could see that he felt the loss of Marley even though it was just a role to play for a TV show, on the other hand Jennifer was also great, I already had references of her from the series of friends and other movies that now unfortunately do not come to mind, but in short they showed professionalism and I think they both enjoyed the company of Marley during the filming process.
I found it very meaningful because I had recently gone through a similar situation and although I could not enjoy watching my dog grow up I still remember each of his adventures of impact even on the neighbors of our place of residence and it was really something very hard.
It was quite a fun film, despite the tears shed while watching the project. Without further ado I hope you liked today's post and thanks for reading.
