Den of Thieves Short Movie Review

Den of Thieves is a heist thriller starring Gerard Butler that focuses on a group of thieves and the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. The bad end up being more understanding than the good ones, who are bullies who drink and who objectify women.

It is also very violent: expect to see many guns and gunshots, as well as bloody wounds, punches and blows, arguments and intimidation. The language is extremely strong and almost constant, with uses of "f--k," "motherf----r," "p---y" and more.

There is a brief partial nudity, as well as suggested sexual situations and partially dressed women who appear to be strippers. The main character sometimes acts with a hangover and seems to drink a lot. There is a lot of social drinking in general, and the main character also smokes cigarettes.

The film sends problematic messages about manhood (that is, it is about bodybuilding, swaggering and pushing people) and some characters make racially charged comments.

The film is directed by Christian Gudegast, North American director who debuted with this title for the big screen. He was previously responsible for writing screenplays for the television movie "Soldier of Fortune" (1997), the criminal thriller "Beyond the City Limits" (2001) and the action film starring Vin Diesel "A Man Apart" (2003). Gudegast was also commissioned to make the screenplay for "London Has Fallen" (2016), sequel to "Olympus Has Fallen" (2013), an action movie starring Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart whose plot focuses on terrorists who want to kidnap to the president of the United States and a security agent trying to protect him. The two installments were very successful at the box office.

This was a below average movie i cant even believe it made it into the cinema it really offers nothing new to the viewer and the acting is stale and lifeless, you dont really care about any of the characters.

If this movie comes on tv and you have nothign better to do then i say watch it but dont go out of your way to make it a movie you should check out
