Esta película que les presentaré a continuación entra en el género de terror y drama, dicho film se llama Hereditary, donde nos sumergen en una ambientación terrorífica, en un mundo de misterios y secretos ocultos en una generación familiar, pero lo peor de todo es que estas raíces que han pasado de generación en generación deben cumplir un misterioso acto que deberán hacer quieran o no.

El director de esta película es Ari Aster, puesto que también es un guionista, es la primera vez que he visto una de sus películas, por el hecho de que es esta que les estaré mencionando en esta publicación.

This film that I will present to you next falls into the genre of horror and drama, this film is called Hereditary, where we are immersed in a terrifying setting, in a world of mysteries and secrets hidden in a family generation, but worst of all is that these roots that have passed from generation to generation must fulfill a mysterious act that they must do whether they want to or not.

The director of this film is Ari Aster, since he is also a screenwriter, it is the first time I have seen one of his films, because of the fact that it is this one that I will be mentioning in this publication.

Todos nosotros tenemos raises, hasta tú que estás leyendo esta publicación, no sabemos de quién somos descendientes, a ciencia cierta no se sabe si eres el hijo de un extraño rey egipcio, romano o espartano, quizás tengas esa curiosidad de saber quienes fueron tus ancestros.

 

¿Y si de repente te enteras de que uno de tus tratara abuelos tenía ciertos pactos con el más allá?

 

Sinceramente, me aterraría la idea con solo pensarlo, o peor aún, si témenos algo extraño en nuestros genes que provienen de nuestros ancestros, posiblemente sea uno de los motivos en las que seamos alérgicos a algo o tengamos alguna deficienciencia y que nosotros no lo sepamos.

Esta película, por mucho que sea extraña, deja en mí muchas dudas y misterios a los que serian muy interesantes de buscar alguna respuesta, pero…

¿A quién pudiese preguntarle sobre nuestros ancestros?

Nadie puede respondernos esas preguntas a no ser que de generación en generación se haga un árbol genealógico y un libro donde se relate la vida de nuestros abuelos y que oficios tenían, incluso su manera de pensar, sobre todo si tenían habilidades como dotes artísticas, musicales o culinarias.

¿Sería esto la respuesta a nuestras preguntas sobre nuestras habilidades?

Si en mi familia tuviéramos un libro con nuestros descendientes, creo que respondería muchas de mis preguntas.

This film, as strange as it is, leaves me with many doubts and mysteries to which it would be very interesting to look for an answer, but...

Who could I ask about our ancestors?

No one can answer these questions unless from generation to generation a family tree is made and a book where the life of our grandparents is told and what trades they had, even their way of thinking, especially if they had skills such as artistic, musical or culinary gifts.

Would this be the answer to our questions about our abilities?

If in my family we had a book with our descendants, I think it would answer many of my questions.

De verdad que me aterra la idea con solo pensarlo…

La historia comienza con una familia de un padre y una madre con dos hijos, uno menor y uno adolescente.

La columna de esta familia se llama Steve Graham y quien interpreta su papel es Gabriel Byrne, su esposa se llama Annie Graham interpretado por Toni Collete.

Sus hijos son Peter Graham interpretado por Alex Wolff y la más menor de la casa llamada Charlie Graham interpretado por Milly Shapiro.

Desde el principio ya sabremos el tipo de relación que tiene Steve con Annie, incluso para con sus hijos, el misterio que hay entre esta familia es intrigante, por el hecho de que nos obliga a seguirla viendo para saber como termina todo y el porqué de las cosas.

It really terrifies me just thinking about it....

The story begins with a family of a father and a mother with two children, one younger and one teenager.

The backbone of this family is Steve Graham played by Gabriel Byrne, his wife is Annie Graham played by Toni Collete.

Their children are Peter Graham played by Alex Wolff and the youngest of the house called Charlie Graham played by Milly Shapiro.

From the beginning we will already know the kind of relationship Steve has with Annie, even with his children, the mystery that exists between this family is intriguing, for the fact that it forces us to keep watching it to know how everything ends and why things happen.

Pero no solo el tipo de relación es un misterio para esta familia, sino que un ser más allá que no es familia de ellos, sabe por todas las cosas por las que sus antepasados fueron en la antigüedad, algo extraño trae entre sus manos y quiere buscar la forma de darles una respuesta a todos.

Todos tenemos problemas entre la familia, lo mejor que podemos hacer es buscarles una solución a las cosas, no es necesario ir a un especialista ni mucho menos recurrir a terceros para que nos “ayuden” a resolver nuestros problemas.

Hay una ley en esta vida que dice así: tus problemas lo resuelves tú y mis problemas los resuelvo yo.

Solo nosotros mismos sabemos como salir de los problemas y encomendarnos al mejor camino y decisión, pero cuando hablamos ya a nivel familiar lo mejor es llevar todo por la paz y ser felices.

We all have problems among the family, the best thing we can do is to look for a solution to things, it is not necessary to go to a specialist or much less to resort to third parties to "help" us to solve our problems.

There is a law in this life that says: you solve your problems and I solve my problems.

Only we ourselves know how to get out of the problems and entrust ourselves to the best way and decision, but when we speak already at the family level it is best to take everything for peace and be happy.

En conclusión, esta familia tiene muchos problemas y misterios que deben descubrir, lo peor de todo es que no hallaremos tranquilidad por algunos minutos como los que estamos acostumbrados a ver en películas de este género.

Todo tiene un trasfondo que ara que quedemos sorprendidos con lo que estamos viendo, no es que esté exagerando, sino que hay muchas cosas que hallaremos impactantes en esta película y ver como la falta de comunicación en esta familia se hace cada vez más negativa es aún más intrigante, y todo sin saber por qué…

Muchos críticos profesionales han hablado muy bien de esta película y de las emociones que encontraron al verla, por eso en Rottentomatoes se menciona que la crítica de la audiencia ha sido de un 90%, pero que ha logrado tener una audiencia del 69%. 

Mi puntuación personal seria de un 5 de 10, sinceramente la hayo intrigante, pero la historia no me convence del todo y hay escenas que son demasiado extraña para mi gusto, se puede apreciar que en la historia buscaron experimentar con algunos géneros para darnos visualmente algo a lo que no estamos acostumbrados, en mi caso así lo fue.

  In conclusion, this family has many problems and mysteries to discover, the worst of all is that we will not find tranquility for a few minutes as we are used to seeing in films of this genre.

Everything has a background that makes us be surprised with what we are seeing, not that I am exaggerating, but there are many things that we will find shocking in this film and see how the lack of communication in this family becomes increasingly negative is even more intriguing, and all without knowing why?

Many professional critics have spoken highly of this movie and the emotions they found when watching it, that's why on Rottentomatoes it is mentioned that the audience review has been 90%, but it has managed to have an audience of 69%. 

My personal score would be a 5 out of 10, honestly I find it intriguing, but the story does not convince me at all and there are scenes that are too strange for my taste, you can see that the story sought to experiment with some genres to give us visually something that we are not used to, in my case it was.
