Free Guy taking over, the best movie with the best visual effects I've ever seen / Review / (ENG/ESP)

Reciban todo un cordial saludo, amigos el día de hoy vengo a compartir con ustedes otra película que me ha encantado mucho.

La película se llama Free Guy: Tomando el Control, entra en los géneros de Comedia, Ciencia Ficción, los actores que me gustaron de esta película son: Guy el protagonista de esta película y actor que interpreta este personaje es Ryan Reynolds, Chica Molotov una de los personajes principales, la actriz que interpreta este personaje es Jodie Comer,  Keys uno de los personajes principales, el actor que interpreta este personaje  es Joe Keery, Ellos juntos vienen siendo como los padres de Guy, pero eso lo veremos más adelante. La película fue estrenada el 13 de agosto de 2021.

Dato Extra sobre la película: Fue nominada a los premios Oscars a mejores efectos visuales compitiendo junto a estas películas Dune, Shan-chi y la leyenda de los Diez Anillos, Sin Tiempo para morir, Sider-Man: No Way Home. Pueden leer más sobre este tema aquí.

Les Mostrare un pequeño resumen de lo que se trata esta película, puesto que esta publicación contendrá muchos spoilers, comencemos. 

Resumen

La historia comienza con nuestro protagonista presentándose rompiendo la “cuarta pared”, comenzando su día con mucha alegría mientras toda la ciudad es un caos y las “Personas” viven como si nada estuviera pasando.

En su trabajo en el banco como cajero junto a su mejor amigo Buddy que es el vigilante, Guy le cuenta como lo único que le falta en su vida es una compañera para compartir su vida, “quiere tener su alma gemela”.

Vemos por primera vez en la película a Chica Molotov en un callejón junto a otra persona donde al parecer está comprando una imagen de un mapa con una tecnología algo peculiar, luego de salir de allí se encuentra en el camino con Guy, ella lo ve y al parecer lo conoce, ya que ella dice la misma frase que Guy, siempre dice a cada persona que conoce “No tengas un buen día ten un gran día”, mientras ella iba cantando una canción en su mente Guy al parecer escucha esa canción y le dice que ama esa canción quedando sorprendida, Nuestro amigo Guy al parecer queda enamorado de ella, al verla solo miremos esa carita que pone nuestro amigo.

Nuestro amigo va a tras de ella y por accidente muere atropellado.

¿Recuerdan cuando comenzando este resumen donde comento que toda la ciudad es un caos, y las personas viven como si nada? Pues resulta que estamos dentro de un juego al estilo GTA y nuestra amiga Chica Molotov es una jugadora, y todos los que usan lentes de sol lo son, y los que no los usan como Guy es un NPC.

Chica Molotov está buscando algo dentro del juego para poder ganar una demanda en contra del dueño del juego online, ya veremos más adelante él por qué. Por cierto, el Juego se llama Free City.

Al ser un juego todo se repite y nuestro amigo Guy vuelve a comenzar un nuevo día con su misma rutina, pero con algo un poco diferente en su vida. En el banco entra un jugador para robarlos como todos los días, y Guy decide cambiar y enfrenta al jugador para quitarle sus lentes, por un momento matando al jugador por accidente, al ser un NPC no está escrito en su programación hacer esa acción dejándonos ver que algo está raro con él. 

Guy al colocarse los lentes ve como la ciudad está repleta de Iconos, Barras, Misiones y demás cosas quedando sorprendido de todo lo que ve a su alrededor recogiendo Botiquines, Dinero en el suelo que no se veía antes. Donde al fin puede comprarse unos zapatos que él quería, pero al no tener el dinero no podía hacerlo.

Pasamos a ver a la empresa que mantiene y controla este juego, y aquí conocemos a Keys, está leyendo el reporte del jugador que Guy mato y le quito su lente, buscándolo creyendo que es otro jugador, pero él no se da cuenta de eso.

Entran al juego con su compañero para buscar a Guy y decirle que está prohibido usar Skin (pieles) de los NPC del juego, siendo tu un jugador, pero lo que ellos no se han dado de cuenta es que Guy es un NPC.

Mientras lo persiguen por toda la ciudad tratando de matar a nuestro amigo Guy, al estilo del juego GTA, dándonos muchas escenas divertidas en las que terminan matando a Guy, puesto que ellos pensaron que ya habían solucionado el problema.

Vemos como Keys entra en su casa y Chica Molotov está en ella, vemos como los dos desarrollaron un juego en el que la empresa que lo compro lo cambio y creo dentro de ese juego Free City, Chica Molotov cree que la prueba que necesita para ganar la demanda está en el juego, puesto que ella lo está buscando, pero Keys no quiere, ya que él trabaja para esa empresa y no cree eso, pero Chica Molotov dice que se lo va a demostrar y al parecer Guy es la clave para eso.  Esta imagen fue tomada viendo la película.

Guy encuentra a Chica Molotov y él quiere estar con ella, pero ella le explica lo que quiere hacer y le dice que tiene que subir de nivel para poder ayudarla, diciéndole como subir de nivel, pero Guy no quiere hacer cosas malas, pero ella le dice que puede hacer cosas buenas, nuestro amigo emocionado se despide y va por la ciudad para subir de nivel y volver a ver a Chica Molotov.

Nuestro amigo Guy se vuelve muy famoso dentro del juego con los jugadores, y en todas las redes sociales hablan de él, ya que está subiendo de nivel muy rápido haciendo todo lo contrario que el juego le pide.

Luego de conseguir el nivel necesario, Guy va a ver a Chica Molotov mientras ella está en una misión para encontrar la prueba que necesita, Chica Molotov convence a Keys que la ayude desde afuera para entrar en la guarida donde se encuentra el video que buscan.

Estando los dos adentro Guy y Chica Molotov hablan mientras que Keys le pregunta con quién habla, ya que no ve que ella esté con otro jugador, Keys aún no sabe que Guy está con nuestra amiga y es un NPC.

Ellos encuentran el video que buscan, pero no revela mucha información y no es útil para ellos, pero Guy les revela que ya ha visto esa imagen toda su vida, pero no sabía que era, pero eso lo veremos más adelante.

Pasan los días y Chica Molotov se enamora de Guy, pero ella cree que es una persona normal que solo está jugando al juego a su manera, puesto que habla con su antigua pareja Keys sobre eso, Chica Molotov y Keys piensan que nuestro amigo Guy es solo un hacker que le gusta este juego.

Keys revisando la base de datos del juego encuentra que nuestro chico de azul es un NPC, y ve como el juego Free City está construido arriba del juego que él y Chica Molotov crearon y vendieron, el comportamiento extraño de Guy se debe a que es una inteligencia artificial como todos los personajes del juego, y están creados para aprender y tomar decisiones como si fueran personas reales, por eso el propio juego tiene tantos errores, ya que no está creado para como lo están usando.

Va con Chica Molotov y se lo explica todo quedando ella sorprendida, puesto que le dice que está enamorada de una inteligencia artificial.

Al final la película de Free Guy: Tomando el Control termina con Guy encontrando la prueba que ellos necesitan para ganar la demando corriendo contra reloj, ya que el dueño de la empresa está destruyendo todo para que la verdad no salga a la luz.

Gracias a sus amigos Guy y los demás consiguen la prueba que ellos estaban buscando, dando fin al problema que tenían y Free City convirtiéndose en el juego que debió ser, Un juego en el que solo los jugadores podrán ver a los NPC en sus vidas y conviviendo con ellos como si fuera un Meta-versó.

En lo personal me encanto esta película, es entretenida y divertida de ver tiene muchas cosas actuales y sus chistes dentro de ella son divertidos.

La recomiendo ver en familia junto con los pequeños de la casa, la película tiene una duración de 1 hora con 55 minutos, tuvo una aceptación que supera el 90% en las personas que la han visto, y contó con una aceptación del 80% de los críticos de película según la página más usada Rottentomatoes.

The movie is called Free Guy: Taking Control, it falls into the genres of Comedy, Science Fiction, the actors that I liked in this movie are: Guy the protagonist of this film and actor who plays this character is Ryan Reynolds, Molotov Girl one of the main characters, the actress who plays this character is Jodie Comer, Keys one of the main characters, the actor who plays this character is Joe Keery, They together come being like Guy's parents, but we will see that later. The movie was released on August 13, 2021.

I'll show you a little summary of what this movie is about, since this post will contain many spoilers, let's get started.

Summary

The story begins with our protagonist introducing himself by breaking the "fourth wall", starting his day with a lot of joy while the whole city is in chaos and the "People" live as if nothing is happening. At his job at the bank as a teller with his best friend Buddy who is the watchman, Guy tells him how the only thing he lacks in his life is a partner to share his life with, "he wants to have his soul mate".

We see for the first time in the film Molotov Girl in an alley next to another person where apparently she is buying an image of a map with a somewhat peculiar technology, after leaving there she meets Guy on the road, she sees him and apparently knows him, as she says the same phrase that Guy, she always says to every person she meets "Don't have a good day have a great day", while she was singing a song in her mind Guy apparently hears that song and tells her that he loves that song being surprised, our friend Guy apparently falls in love with her, when he sees her just look at that face that puts our friend.

Our friend goes after her and is accidentally run over and killed. Remember when I started this summary where I commented that the whole city is in chaos, and people live as if nothing? Well, it turns out that we are inside a GTA style game and our friend Molotov Girl is a player, and everyone who wears sunglasses is a player, and everyone who doesn't wear sunglasses like Guy is an NPC.

Chica Molotov is looking for something inside the game, so she can win a lawsuit against the owner of the online game, we'll see later he why. By the way, the game is called Free City.

Being a game, everything repeats itself and our friend Guy returns to start a new day with his same routine, but with something a little different in his life. In the bank enters a player to steal them as every day, and Guy decides to change and faces the player to remove his glasses, for a moment killing the player by accident, being an NPC is not written in its programming to do that action leaving us to see that something is wrong with him.

Guy when putting on his glasses sees how the city is full of Icons, Bars, Missions and other things being surprised of everything he sees around him collecting First Aid Kits, Money on the ground that was not seen before. Where he can finally buy some shoes that he wanted, but not having the money he could not do it.

We move on to see the company that maintains and controls this game, and here we meet Keys, he is reading the report of the player that Guy killed and took his lens, looking for him believing that he is another player, but he does not realize that.

They enter the game with his partner to find Guy and tell him that it is forbidden to use NPC skins in the game, being you're a player, but what they have not realized is that Guy is an NPC.

As they chase him around the city trying to kill our friend Guy, in the style of the GTA game, giving us many funny scenes in which they end up killing Guy, since they thought they had already solved the problem.

We see how keys enters his house and Chica Molotov is in it, we see how the two developed a game in which the company that bought it changed it and created within that game Free City, Chica Molotov believes that the proof he needs to win the lawsuit is in the game, since she is looking for it, but Keys does not want to, since he works for that company and does not believe that, but Chica Molotov says he will prove it to him and apparently Guy is the key to that. This image was taken watching the movie.

Guy finds Molotov Girl, and he wants to be with her, but she explains what she wants to do and tells him that he has to level up in order to help her, telling him how to level up, but Guy doesn't want to do bad things, but she tells him that he can do good things, our excited friend says goodbye and goes around town to level up and see Molotov Girl again.

Our friend Guy becomes very famous inside the game with the players, and in all the social networks they talk about him, as he is leveling up very fast doing all the opposite that the game asks him to do.

After getting the necessary level, Guy goes to see Molotov Girl while she is on a mission to find the proof she needs, Molotov Girl convinces Keys to help her from the outside to enter the lair where the video they are looking for is located.

Being the two of them inside Guy and Molotov Girl talk while Keys asks her who she is talking to, since he doesn't see that she is with another player, keys still doesn't know that Guy is with our friend and is an NPC.

They find the video they are looking for, but it doesn't reveal much information and is not useful for them, but Guy reveals to them that he has already seen that image all his life, but he didn't know what it was, but we will see that later.

Days go by, and Molotov Girl falls in love with Guy, but she thinks he is a normal person who is just playing the game in his own way, since she talks to her old partner Keys about it, Molotov Girl and Keys think that our friend Guy is just a hacker who likes this game.

Keys checking the game database finds that our guy in blue is an NPC, and sees how the game Free City is built on top of the game he and Chica Molotov created and sold, Guy's strange behavior is because he is artificial intelligence like all the characters in the game, and they are created to learn and make decisions as if they were real people, that's why the game itself has so many errors, since it is not created for how they are using it.

He goes to Molotov Girl and explains everything to her, and she is surprised, since she tells him that she is in love with artificial intelligence.

In the end, the Free Guy: Taking Control movie ends with Guy finding the proof they need to win the lawsuit running against the clock, as the owner of the company is destroying everything to keep the truth from coming out.

Thanks to his friends, Guy and the others get the proof they were looking for, ending the problem they had and Free City becoming the game it was meant to be, a game where only players can see the NPCs in their lives and live with them as if it were a Meta-verse.

Personally I love this movie, it is entertaining and fun to watch, it has many current things and the jokes in it are funny.

I recommend watching it as a family with the little ones of the house, the movie has a duration of 1 hour and 55 minutes, had an acceptance that exceeds 90% in people who have seen it, and had an acceptance of 80% of film critics according to the most used page Rottentomatoes.
