After several weeks, I finished watching this great series. And in this opportunity I want to express my opinions and criticisms. Since now I can give a much more complete analysis.
Luego de varias semanas, terminé de ver esta gran serie. Y en esta oportunidad quiero expresar mis opiniones y críticas. Ya que ahora puedo dar un análisis mucho más completo.
Something that amuses me is the fact that I started and finished this series in less than a month. When there were many people who had to wait years to finish it. There were people who started watching Shingeki no Kyojin in 2013 when it started and had to wait until 2023 to see the end 😅
Algo que me causa gracia es el hecho que empecé y terminé esta serie en menos de un mes. Cuando hubo mucha gente que tuvo que esperar años para poder terminarla. Hubo personas que empezaron a ver Shingeki no Kyojin en 2013, cuando inició y tuvieron que esperar hasta 2023 para ver el final 😅
After having finished this series in its entirety, I can conclude that it is very good. For me it is not a masterpiece, but it has a great quality in many aspects. And if I had to give it a rating, it would be an 8/10.
Luego de haber terminado al completo esta serie, puedo concluir en que es muy buena. Para mí no llega a ser una obra maestra, pero sí posee una gran calidad en muchos aspectos. Y si tuviera que darle una calificación, sería un 8/10.
My problem is that after the third season, I noticed a general decline. I'm not saying it became bad, but it did lose a bit of level.

Something that I didn't like at all was the revelation at the end of the third season. Where the main characters discover that outside the walls there were many more humans and more advanced than them.
Algo que a mí no me gustó para nada fue la revelación del final de la tercera temporada. Donde los protagonistas descubren que fuera de los muros había muchos más seres humanos y más avanzados que ellos.
On the one hand, I was surprised, but not in a positive way. From the beginning up to that point, I was sold the discourse that the war was between humanity and the titans, that we must avoid the extinction of human beings, the fight for freedom, etc. And it turns out that it was all an illusion and a lie. That what we had seen up to that moment was a community trapped between walls totally deceived and manipulated. Where many died for a cause that never existed. In short, this was something that I did not like at all. And the truth is that from that moment on, I lost a bit of interest.
Por un lado, si me sorprendió, pero no de manera positiva. Desde el comienzo hasta ese punto, me vendieron el discurso de la guerra era entre la humanidad y los titanes, que hay que evitar la extinción de los seres humanos, la lucha por la libertad, etc. Y resulta que todo era una ilusión y una mentira. Que lo que habíamos visto hasta ese momento era una comunidad atrapada entre muros totalmente engañada y manipulada. Donde murieron muchos por una causa que nunca existió. En definitiva, esto fue algo que a mí no me agradó para nada. Y la verdad que a partir de ese momento, perdí un poco el interés.
The animation in general is fine, but I noticed that the quality also dropped. I think they made the mistake of abusing CGI in some moments. That mistake made that some battles between titans lost epicity. I guess this is because in the middle of the series there was a change of animation house.
La animación en general, está bien, pero noté que también bajó la calidad. Creo que se cometió el error de abusar del CGI en algunos momentos. Ese error hizo que algunas batallas entre titanes perdieron epicidad. Supongo que esto se debe a que a la mitad de la serie hubo un cambio de casa de animación.
On the other hand, I noticed that the series got a little slow from the third season on. I don't know if it happened to anyone else, but I felt it was stretched too much. I guess the creator, after seeing the success his work was having, wanted to squeeze it as much as possible. Basically, I think the same could have been told in fewer chapters. Without losing details.
Por otro lado, noté que la serie se volvió algo lenta a partir de la tercera temporada. No sé si le pasó a alguien más, pero sentí que la estiraron de más. Supongo que el creador luego de ver el éxito que estaba teniendo su obra, quiso exprimirla lo máximo posible. Básicamente, creo que se pudo haber contado lo mismo en menos capítulos. Sin perder detalles.
At this point it may seem like I'm complaining too much, but the reality is that as I said, I really liked the series. I don't regret watching it and I think its season 1 and 2 are excellent.
En este punto puede parecer que me quejo demasiado, pero la realidad es que como dije, me gustó mucho la serie. No me arrepiento de haberla visto y creo que su temporada 1 y 2 son excelentes.
And now I fully understand why Shingeki no Kyojin is so famous. It's not for nothing. Beyond the mistakes it may have, it's a story worth watching.
