I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I finished both seasons of Solo Leveling in one week. In my defense, I have to say that this series is very addictive.

In short, I really enjoyed watching this series and find it to be very entertaining. Now I can understand why there are so many people who like Solo Leveling. Although I also have to say that it is no masterpiece and for me, it has some serious flaws.
Resumidamente, disfruté mucho al ver esta serie y considero que es muy entretenida. Ahora puedo entender por qué hay tanta gente que le gusta Solo Leveling. Aunque también tengo que decir que no es ninguna obra maestra y para mí, tiene algunos errores graves.
What disappointed me a lot was what they did with Sung Jinwoo. From the first episode, I loved him as the main character and he managed to move me. What I didn't like is that he had such an abrupt and sudden change from one chapter to another.

Literally, from one moment to the next he becomes tall, muscular, serious, mysterious and no longer afraid. It was so sudden that it seems like there was a change of protagonist. Because they didn't even make an effort to build him up or develop him, they just took him where they wanted him to go. Honestly, I would have liked to see a more progressive and meaningful change. Not simply replacing one body and personality with another.
Literalmente, de un momento a otro se vuelve alto, musculoso, serio, misterioso y deja de tener miedo. Fue tan repentino que llega a parecer que directamente hubo un cambio de protagonista. Porque ni se esforzaron en hacer una construcción o un desarrollo, simplemente lo llevaron a donde quisieron. Honestamente, me hubiera gustado ver un cambio más progresivo y con algo de sentido. No simplemente, remplazar un cuerpo y una personalidad por otra.
One thing I feared was that Sung Jinwoo's unique ability to improve without limits would make him stupidly strong at one point. That happened and much sooner than I expected. By the end of the second season he's so powerful that he makes S class look like E. In this sense I also figured it was going to be something more progressive. For example, that in the first season he goes from E class to C class and in the second season he goes from C class to A class.

This is a problem because it renders all the other characters useless and useless. In the end it feels like Sung Jinwoo can handle it all by himself. Which reminds me of Saitama from One Punch Man. A hero who is far above the others in his story and can defeat everyone with relative ease.

I have no idea what's going to happen in the following seasons and I don't want to find out through manhwa, but I have a bad feeling. I suspect that from now on, there will be a lot of repetition of the same formula. A situation that appeared to be totally overpowered, ends up getting out of control by some overly powerful being and Sung Jinwoo shows up to save the day. I hope I'm wrong because this will make the series monotonous and a bit tedious to watch.

Leaving aside the negative, its strongest point, by far, is its audiovisual aspect. Its animation and soundtrack are excellent. The fights are so well constructed and animated that they give you an erection. I could even say that they are the best I saw in anime. For this reason I think Solo Leveling becomes so addictive.

In addition to the magnificent design of monsters and demons. Some of them left me with my mouth open because of how impressive they were. Highlighting Baran, the demon king. Who was on the 100th floor of the demon castle. That so far is my favorite.

In conclusion, I liked Solo Leveling and I will be watching for the next seasons. On the other hand, I feel it was overrated. Yes it's good, but I don't know if it's good enough to win the best anime of the year award. Now I understand all the controversy around it.
En conclusión, me gustó Solo Leveling y voy a estar pendiente a las próximas temporadas. Por otra parte, siento que se sobrevaloró. Si está buena, pero no sé si al punto de ganar el premio al mejor anime del año. Ahora comprendo toda la polémica que se armó al rededor de esto.
In closing, I give Solo Leveling a rating of 7.5/10. Score based on Solo in what came out so far. With future seasons this could go up or down.
