I've been hearing a lot about this series for several months now. From praise, positive reviews and good words. It was even mentioned and recommended to me by a colleague at the gym.
Hace varios meses que vengo escuchando bastante sobre esta serie. Desde elogios, críticas positivas y buenas palabras. Hasta me la llegó a mencionar y recomendar un compañero del gimnasio.
For a while I had it on my to-watch list. Until I decided to give it a chance when I found out that Crunchyroll gave it the title of best anime of 2025.

Before giving my opinions and impressions, I will make a brief introduction. Solo Leveling takes us to a world where a couple of decades ago, portals appear that lead to dungeons full of monsters.

Based on what I saw so far, what I liked the most was the main character. I feel it was very well written and designed to make it easy for us to empathize with him. It hadn't even been 10 minutes and I was already attached. I wanted him to succeed in everything.
Basándome en lo que vi hasta ahora, lo que más me gustó fue el protagonista. Siento que fue muy bien escrito y diseñado para que se nos haga fácil empatizar con él. No habían pasado ni 10 minutos y yo ya me había encariñado. Quería que tuviera éxito en todo.
His kind, calm, brave and cunning personality captivated me. In addition, I found it very noble that he will fight alone to be able to pay for his mother's medical treatment and his sister's studies. This has much more merit being an extremely weak hunter who is constantly in danger of death. I hope this character earns the sky as the chapters go by.
Su personalidad amable, tranquila, valiente y astuta, me cautivo. Sumado a que me pareció muy noble el hecho de que luchará solo para poder pagar el tratamiento médico de la madre y los estudios de la hermana. Esto tiene mucho más mérito al ser un cazador extremadamente débil que está constantemente en peligro de muerte. Espero que este personaje se gane el cielo con el pasar de los capítulos.
What surprised me was that it was so bloody, raw and violent. I wasn't expecting it to be like Dragon Ball Super, but not this gory either. 😅 In the 3 chapters I watched, several limbs were lost, one ended up broken in half and the main character was tortured. I clarify that I'm not complaining about this, I'm not someone sensitive. I prefer it a thousand times than the cardboard violence of the last Dragon Ball. I only highlight it because it caught my attention.
Lo que me sorprendió es que fuera tan sangriento, crudo y violento. No esperaba que fuera como Dragón Ball Súper, pero tampoco así de sangriento. 😅 En los 3 capítulos que vi, se perdieron varias extremidades, uno terminó partido por la mitad y el protagonista fue torturado. Aclaro que no me quejo de esto, no soy alguien sensible. Prefiero mil veces que sea así a la violencia de cartón de lo último de Dragón Ball. Solo lo resalto porque me llamó la atención.
The plot is extremely interesting. Not only because of the mysteries that revolve around these portals and dungeons. Also because of the need to find out how the protagonist has his character development and how it will strengthen over the course of the series.
La trama es sumamente interesante. No solo por los misterios que giran al rededor de estos portales y mazmorras. También por la necesidad de averiguar como el protagonista tiene su desarrollo de personaje y como se fortalecerá con el trascurso de la serie.
At this point, I can understand why so many people like Solo Leveling. It's a series that grabs you instantly because of its quality and characters. I don't know if it's good enough to have been awarded the title of best anime of the year, but without a doubt, it's very good.
A esta altura, puedo entender por qué a tanta gente le gusta Solo Leveling. Es una serie que te atrapa al instante por su calidad y personajes. No sé si es tan buena como para haber sido premiada con el título del mejor anime del año, pero sin dudas, es muy buena.
Personally, I recommend it. It is totally worth it. And for my part, I'm going to keep watching it and enjoying it. I'm going to take advantage of this freezing weather in my country to make myself a hot infusion and continue with Solo Leveling 😁.
