I have to make something clear at the outset. This top is made based on my personal standards. It doesn't mean that these are the best movies, but the ones I liked the most. On the other hand, I will also take into account specials and OVAS.
Tengo que aclarar algo desde el principio. Este top está hecho con base en mis estándares personales. No quiere decir que estas son las mejores películas, sino las que a mí más me gustaron. Por otra parte, tendré en cuenta también especiales y OVAS.
🔹🔸 5. DRAGON BALL SUPER: BROLY 🔸🔹
For my taste, this is the only decent movie within the modern stage of Dragon Ball. I think it's the only one worthwhile.
Para mi gusto, esta es la única película decente dentro de la etapa moderna de Dragón Ball. Creo que es la única que vale la pena.
The main reason it's in the top is because it improved Broly's character considerably. I think this version is much better than the one that was shown during Dragon Ball Z. Moving away from being a monotonous character with no logical motivations and flat personality. This to me was some of the best the franchise did in the last decade. Aside from that the movie has a great drawing style and soundtrack. It doesn't rank higher because it's too childish at times and some scenes are embarrassing.
La razón principal por la que está en el top es porque mejoró considerablemente al personaje de Broly. Pienso que esta versión es mucho mejor a la que se mostró durante Dragon Ball Z. Dejando de ser un personaje monótono, sin motivaciones lógicas y con personalidad plana. Esto para mí fue de lo mejor que hizo la franquicia en la última década. Aparte que la película cuenta con un gran estilo de dibujo y banda sonora. No tiene un puesto más alto porque por momentos es demasiado infantil y algunas escenas causan vergüenza ajena.
🔹🔸 4. THE TWO WARRIORS OF THE FUTURE: GOHAN AND TRUNKS 🔸🔹
I may be overrating this OVA a bit by putting it at #4, but I loved it. Especially because they give Gohan, who is my favorite character, a great spotlight. Besides that they show us what for many is the best version of Gohan. Being heroic, brave, determined, imposing and willing to sacrifice himself for others.
Puede que esté sobrevalorado un poco esté OVA al ponerlo en el puesto 4, pero a mí me encantó. Sobre todo porque le dan un gran protagonismo a Gohan, que es mi personaje favorito. Aparte que nos muestran lo que para muchos es la mejor versión de Gohan. Siendo heroico, valiente, determinado, imponente y dispuesto a sacrificarse por los demás.

🔹🔸 3. DRAGON BALL: THE FUSION OF GOKU AND VEGETA 🔸🔹
What really caught my attention about this movie is its high graphic level. Both its drawing style and its animation are excellent for the standards of that time. I even dare to say that for today's standards it is fine.

The other reason I love this movie is because Gogeta appears after Goku and Vegeta practice the metamorph dance. Which aesthetically is beautiful and his power is incredible.

I think everyone knows without reading why this movie is ranked #2. Simply put, Tapion. This great character is so good and iconic that he only needed to appear once to be loved by fans. We all remember his famous melody with the ocarina. That after 30 years, it's still relevant.
Creo que todos saben sin leer por qué esta película está en el puesto 2. Simplemente, Tapion. Este gran personaje es tan bueno e icónico que solo necesito aparecer una vez para que sea querido por los fanáticos. Todos recordamos su famosa melodía con la ocarina. Other than that, the movie is good. Highlighting the bond that is generated between Trunks and Tapion. Becoming almost like brothers. The villain may be a bit simplistic, but he delivers. And I think the ending is pretty decent. Where Goku defeats the demon with the dragon punch.

I think this work is the one that adds the most value to Goku's story, even though it is not canon. For the fact that it shows us how was the origin of the protagonist and what happened to his race and his home planet. Basically, it gives us a broader view of the history of Dragon Ball.

Plus we meet Bardock, Goku's father. Who is a great character. I still remember the scene where he stands in front of Freeza's ship demanding that he come out to fight and my skin crawls.
